i've done it with just a chain, but a tilter will make it a bit easier.
lift points are front left of the head, and rear right (standing at the front of the car and looking at the engine)
are you removing engine and box, or just engine?
ditto, had mine on a 500kg stand a few times and no issues.
mate of mine has his built jun stroker sitting on a stand, with big sump, front diff, etc... looks very nose heavy, so he has propped a bit of wood under the front just in case..
650cc injectors?
you will piss 300rwhp in on stock injectors.
i'd be going with what michael said first, safc, 25 turbo.. etc.. then see how you go. can always sell the safc/turbo for pretty much what it cost you and upgrade if/when you want more power.
i would have kept mine if they fit my legnum, they are a very nice wheel, especially with the concaved spokes.
i'm looking at 2 new cars however, and i shit you not, BOTH have the same rims.
yep.. most places just list them as sparco rims..
took me ages to find the name, and then source some centre caps... i *may* be able to find out where my old rims went, because i had 7 caps (original 3 plus the 4 i bought) cant promise anything though!
good luck!
i had a set of these rims, took me a few years to find a centre cap/nut for it.
there is a similar rim which is called python NSII, but i'm pretty sure they are actually called Sparco Hyper Fang II.
no, not all PPG boxes are straight cut dog boxes.
you can get helical gears with synchro's if you like. hell, you can even get a mixture of straight cut and helical gears.
the 33 gts-t gearsets are pretty strong, just get the synchro's replaced, and you will more than likely be right.
i've seen one last quite some time with 600hp being thrown at it..
rofl, no they don't all f**k the synchro's.
but yes, that does sound like the synchro's on fourth going..
you can try some fresh oil, but it will only mask the problem for so long.
