  1. yeah, thats the galant, with a body kit. heres a stock 1998 model, in trigger mauve (purple)
  2. 1998-2000 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 cost you about ~13k, twin turbo v6 with awd, and a 5spd tiptronic box. looks good 14.4 stock 1/4 mile ~400km/tank has air bags and abs has power windows they go up to 2002 models mitsubishi can service them for a decent price parts are common as anything in new zealand
  3. you can buy a plug that will stop the gearbox draining itself too. to remove it, undo the 4 bolts from the diff, the 2 bolts holding it up in the middle, and it will just slide out the back of the box. you might be able to get away with just the 2 bolts in the middle, i vaguely remember taking my engine/box out, and the shaft was still attached to the diff.
  4. they ARE rolled... you do realise rolling guards is only 'rolling' up the inside edge of the wheel? the outside of the panel doesnt change or move, thats called flaring. and whilst flaring might be 'cheap' to do, it will need to be resprayed.
  5. got rego'd on friday, yay!
  6. my pintara has the filler on the same side as the tank, and my legnum has a little arrow pointing to it as well
  7. broken clutch pivot point? mine broke, the grab point was right on the floor, had to double clutch to get into gears smootly
  8. heres a link to the build up of that exact car http://www.sillbeer.com/archive/2007_01_01_archive.html
  9. first picture is an electrical boost gauge unit. i assume the plugs in the 2nd/3nd picture were together? cause they should be.
  10. factory recaro's FTW!
  11. obviously.. cause you'd have no friends on there.. it's your email address mate.. don't you think its a bit coincidental that 3 different things say you are 20?
  12. oh by the way... i found a myspace account from your email address.. apparently it belongs to a 20 yr old male, in australia, with no friends. keep digging that hole champ. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendID=52376850
  13. didnt the late 32's alright have the right sized collar's?
  14. yep, thats the only difference. the legnum doesnt weight much more, and is closer to 50:50 weight distribution than the galant, not to mention more 'sleeper', thats why i went for one
  15. they fit my 33 perfectly, so id imagine it would be the same for a 34 the used to be white, so they were sandblasted first, and then powdercoated
  16. i think its for defrosting the wipers, when they get snowed over
  17. this topic came up on another forum i'm on, and Ben from J-Spec said the same thing..
  18. isn't it?
  19. they even made a few 13b (non turbo) powered buses.
  20. i'm 99% sure i have the drivers side regulator, will check when i go home
  21. yeah 206kw stock.. however with exhaust, fmic, safc, and more boost, they can be around 200awkw.. mods wise, it has a factory ralliart muffler, ralliart suspension, but then ive got some coilovers arriving tomorrow, my old sparco rims will hoefully fit on it, boost controller to push it up to 15+psi at the moment the power is very linear, the V6 just has heaps of torque
  22. i've got a white S2 33 wing, in perth. pm me.
  23. its funny.. i dont notice the extra room, i guess the sporty look of the car, and the recaro's, momo steering wheel etc.. still feels like i'm driving a little sports car i technically had the 4 door pintara in between too.. but i consider that a ride on lawn mower with a roof, rather than a car. Kristian at Iron Chef Imports.. he's the man who applied to import the VR-4's
