coilovers arrived friday, and fitted them to kylies car yesterday. they feel firmer, but not uncomfortable, corners without feeling like its going to barrel roll off the road, but best of all its not lift kit spec anymore... it now scrapes on speed bumps, etc! just be careful though, if you order some, specify they have a 90mm PCD rear top hat, as we got sent the wrong top hats, and i had to modify the top hats from the stock shocks onto them. (surely we dont have the first RS4 stagea with G4's??) all up, for the smoother ride, lowered height, and better handling, it was well worth the $1399 they cost. pics to follow shortly.

GTR will fit brad. 33 GTS-T radiator is 25mm thick, and a 33 GTR is the exact same, except 32mm thick. you can get up to about 50mm thick in there though.

mine were powdercoated black. (in my sig) cost me $220 to sandblast them as they were white, and $220 to powdercoat them, and 6 centre caps. powdercoating is stronger than paint too.

dotars are held up big time... however they were supposed to remove the bottleneck a few weeks ago, and most of the cars ive heard that were held up are almost done now. my car was "mechanically" complianced within days of arriving, but yeah.. waited over a month for the approval, and then another week for the plate itself.

i had 10kg front, 8kg rear in my 33, and it was like stated above..

my car arrived at Shogun in brisbane on the 16th of august, and was ready last friday.. so just under 2 months they had 18 cars there for about a month waiting for approval.

i love how people try compare our price against the rest.. it's the same reason my new car cost $4000 in japan, but is costing me $15,000 once its on aussie roads. they DONT want us buying non-australian cars, so they ramp it up with taxes, and the like, so either a) buy a commonwhore, or a foulcan, or b) they make lots of money of our stubbornness to own something decent.

all those photo's make me dizzy. shall be one hell of a 260RS (and debt for that matter) when its done however.. that engine crane is a bloody good idea! i assume it lets you adjust the angle of the engine? i had issues as i dropped the whole engine and box in mine, and the angle had to be steep to get the box under the tunnel, then i struggled to pull it back up and drop the engine on the mounts. PS: what are you lurking down there for dale? still trying to clean up the mess you made?
