  1. you only bought those brakes so it looked good whilst it spent its life in shows, didn't you bart? why else would you put project mu's on a pintara...
  2. whoops, forgot to mention sand blasting... i had that done seperately. all up i paid $300 to have 4 rims and 7 centre caps sand blasted, and powder coated.. the finish was perfect and didn't flake/fade for the entire time i had the rims.
  3. not true... i had my rims powder coated, only costs $30-40 per rim, and it is a very strong coating, i had no marks/scratches on mine, and they got thrown around a bit with swapping rims/tyres, etc quite often.
  4. oh... thats what it is??? i always thought ryan was in the car with you.
  5. and how much do you want to bleeeeeeeeed
  6. so flutter is gay... EXCEPT if its YOUR bigger turbo? and if its slowing the turbo down, and damaging it like you claim, why do you let yours do it?
  7. i prefer the look of the 4 doors too.. the coupe's look funny with such a long rear end, whereas the 4 door seems to suit the shape nicer. not that mine has much room to utilise the 2 rear doors.. the bucket seats take up most of the rear legroom
  8. ANGRY PIDGEONS ARE BOMBED
  9. this is definately for sale now... make me an offer! there is literally not many things left on the car that are factory now, 99% of the engine bay is brand new or aftermarket parts, brand new 235's all round.
  10. where does it state that? someone can't read properly, or is making things up. do you honestly think if it made it to court, they would have a leg to stand on with no evidence?
  11. chuck a 25det in with the 25det box, i wouldn't bother with straight cut gears, the 33 box is pretty strong as is. (mine handles 400rwhp without any issues) 5 stud conversion, the front hubs can be re-drilled to 5 stud, or you can get early Z31 hubs. the rear can't be re-drilled, so its either try find some early Z31 hubs again, or get some made up (probably easier to get a full set made up) brakes wise, again i'd chuck the 33 gts-t brakes on it, you will need HR31 (import) front struts, and then the calipers/rotors are a direct fit, rear is a direct fit too. if its converted to 5 stud, everything will bolt straight up, if its still 4 stud, you just need to get blank rotors, or re-drill them to 4 stud) diff setup, you can get a few different LSD's for them, i've got a tomei technical trax 2 way for my 31, they make them for the aussie spec as well (a mate in WA has one for sale, in the housing)
  12. Weds Kranze LXZ. http://www.weds.co.jp/products/kranze/lxz.html no idea on where to get them/price, but the name should help you.
  13. Skyline model = HR31 Passage GT Wheel diameter = 17" Wheel width = 9" (front and rear) Wheel offset = +15 Tyre size = 235/45R17 Modifications to fit = front guards rolled could do with a ~15mm spacer on the rear.
  14. what did you mis-spell? either way, there shouldn't be any noises... i've had a stock clutch, os giken super single, exedy single, and now a custom built single plate, not one has made a noise.
  15. love the offset, how's it go with the facelift flares? i used to have a leggy between skylines..
  16. 5mm pinstriping vinyl... i think a bit wider would have been better though
  17. rofl, who told you that? when does it make the noise, clutch engaged/disengaged? f**ked bearings will make a noise, could be the throwout bearing (was this replaced with the clutch?) or even the input shaft bearing. the only noise a box should make is the rattle when a multi plate clutch is disengaged, or straight cut gears.
  18. a bit bored with the black rims (had the exact same rims/colour on my 33 as well) so i chucked a red lip on them... i think it suits, and was only a 15 min job.
  19. that's not my tuner, that was done over east.. as i said before, i think the figure is a bit ambiguous, but it's definately making in the realms of ~350rwhp.
  20. the tune/dyno was done over east, i've had a few little issues to sort out before getting it retuned. the timing did seem a bit adventurous as you mentioned, so i backed it off a bit pretty much after my first drive just so i knew it was safe up until i get my trusted tuner to give it a once over. when it gets retuned, timing and fuel will be backed off, however i'd like to wind some more boost into it if possible.
  21. VL Calais, 26/30, T51R, Transbrake. i'll take one!
