  1. alright guys, here it is! CA20E auto Pintara.
  2. he's got one.
  3. how about we say it again just for good measure? if in doubt, dont speed.
  4. 1:40PM.. no wonder you face your pc to the back wall. ring up the dpi and see what the status is with your license.. i'm 99% sure if you lose it/points, etc.. its a seperate letter.
  5. well there ya go, i stand corrected. it only runs the car for 30 seconds or something before shutting it down if the key isnt put in though? i doubt thats going to help much if its cold, wouldnt even be enough time to get anything remotely warm.
  6. how is your 33 gts-t going anyway? i guess you could just fill out the engine number swap form, and say its rated at 250hp, or whatever it is a stock stagea rb25 is. did your old engine die in the crash dale? save your money on a neo, and buy a nice s1/2 r33 rb25 with some fruit on it.
  7. that sounds like a viper alarm system, not a factory thing. little blue mobile style thing, yeah? mate of mine has it in his supra
  8. i think you might have to take it over the pits dale, as the neo has a higher HP rating. (direct engine swaps are fine, like when i swapped my 'stock' r33 s1 rb25 for a 'stock' r33 s1 rb25. so both were 'apparently' 187kw) however a s1 stagea is 176ish kw, with a s2 stagea being 206kw, so you need to have it inspected, as your brakes, etc might not be adequate for the massive 30kw increase you will gain.
  9. id imagine 17's would have a slight advantage over 18's, due to a slightly larger sidewall, and usually lighter rims, and also majority of the weight being closer to the hub. however its probably not even noticable aslong as you dont buy some cheap ass cast iron 19" chromies, you should be right. it may have the same rolling diametre, but the rim itself is likely to be heavier, and have more weight further from the hub, thus affecting its ability to be rotated.
  10. his is a S2 though.
  11. well, i guess thats one way to have sealed headlights
  12. they wont fit yours brad, gtr's only came with the S1 style lights and about $1500 is the going rate
  13. just a quick note though.. there are 2 screws on each side of the bar near the tyre well, yeah? atleast mine had 2..
  14. nice writeup, i get a fair few people asking how to remove front bars, ill link them here now. did you do it all yourself, painting etc? good work if you did, great to see people doing it themselves. looks good btw.
  15. due to my R33 being written off (check WA for sale section for parts!) i'm selling my sparco rims (they were not on the car at the time of the crash, so absolutely nothing wrong with them) had them powdercoated black about 3000km ago, so they are like brand new. also comes with six (yes 6) centre rings and nuts, also powdercoated black rears are 17x9" +38 front are 17x8" +32 they PERFECTLY fit on my 33 gts-t. $1300 located in wa, mobile is 0405 908 860
  16. 4 door ones are ugly though. i'm selling mine for $350. edit: but you have a s2, so disregard what i just said.
  17. tub the wagon and run 30's, bling bling!! (make it lower than grants too) seriously however.. i know 235/35R18's fit, as thats what kylie has, and id imagine a 19 would fit easy with the amount of guard clearance there is left. is yours lowered? that can affect rim size too. also, larger wheels make you travel FASTER than what your speedo indicates, as the larger rolling diameter has a greater circumference, and travels a further distance over 1 rotation.
  18. took me about 4 months to do my engine.. but i'm lazy. (there was probably only about 3-4 days of actual work though )
  19. nah, i dont have the balls to ask.
  20. what the hell are you on about sam. congrats paul and lauren. i guess that engine will be transplanted to a stagea soon now paul?
  21. but the real question is.. who WANTS an rb20det + box? there is a reason rb20's + boxes are cheaper, may aswell just start with 25, and a newer car.
  22. not getting mistaken for a volvo > getting mistaken for a volvo.
  23. i wanna drop my 33 gear into a escort now..
  24. i have a skyline for sale.. mint condition, just a minor scratch on the rear bumper. in all seriousness though, i took a bit of a leap to get my car, and i spent almost all my money on it for a year or two. admittedly not the best idea, but i loved driving it, even the 5 minute drive from balcatta to ossy park in the mornings was fun. have a look around, i've just been reading through the autotrader for a new car, and there are some nice skylines for under 20k, hell you could get a really nice S1 with a body kit, suspension, few mods for under $20k (i was going to sell mine for $18k). i was after a S2 aswell when i bought mine, but at the time they were $35k+, so i 'settled' for a nice stockish S1 with a body kit.. and ended up spending over $35k by the end of it anyway
