  1. nice! mine seem to stay on pretty tight.. i went to take them off the other week and struggled a bit...
  2. matt black spokes with gloss black dish, do it. looks good though... i'll sell the 31 and you can find me a black one
  3. picsorban kristian... make me regret not buying one! i want this one sooooooo much.
  4. pay for transport, pay pits inspection (~$80) then if it passes, pay stamp duty and rego, and you're off.
  5. you can do whatever the hell you like, i'm not going to lose any sleep over your choice. i was asking why you'd go with a blower that offers very much the same characteristics as a turbo, except at a higher price.. if i was to go a supercharger, i'd be aiming for something with no lag, and a very broad power curve, rather than a peaky figure that a turbo can deliver.
  6. it's a simple question.... it doesn't matter a thing to me honestly. if you don't want peoples opinions, why post it up on an open forum?
  7. if the vortech blower you are going for delivers power in much the same way as a turbo, what benefit is there, apart from the wank factor in saying you have a super charger?
  8. ooo.. didn't realise there was one of these in WA... the guy who imported my legnum for me (kristian at iron chef imports) showed me them when they got approval, and i was very interested in buy one.. lowered on a good set of rims and these things look fantastic.
  9. non-hicas rack isnt required, to be honest i wouldn't even bother with it unless your current rack is stuffed they may also be a different ration, and more turns lock-to-lock.
  10. you're a retard. keep your shit off the street before you hurt someone.
  11. how are they 'machinable' from +-0 to -8 offset? that's making them sit 8mm further out, thus requiring more metal, not less.
  12. Y34 Cedric VQ30DET i've never really been a fan of 'pimped' cars, but i love these things
  13. perfect offset for a stag! love the style too, i wanted NT-03's for my old 33. unique1 managed to get a 18x10 +19 to fit on his stagea (front sat in the guard, rear fit with stretched tyres), so definitely possible!
  14. this is a mates car... 18x9.5 +13, with 235/40R18 front and rear.
  15. buy 26 cut, sell off some of the parts and buy + freshen up a 3L bottom end with the profits. that way you know you'll have a reliable engine too
  16. lol, claiming figures and you haven't even started yet.... i hope you don't get disappointed.
  17. i'm all for being different, but there is also common sense to... $30k on a super charged setup will get you an equal/better turbo setup, plus probably a fair few other things including brakes and the like (which shouldn't be skimped on either) flock of sheep? 90% of those with turbo skylines got it like that from the factory... i guess i'll stick to be a sheep with a 400hp RB25DET in a passage GT, everyone has those.
  18. it wont be a 'lil extra' you'll need brackets, pipework, etc all custom fabricated then depending on how much power you want to make, injectors, afm, ecu/tune, etc etc... what is this great idea you have of hiding the SC? so far it seems like hopes and dreams without any real actual thought put to it.
  19. is your 32 awd or rwd? i'd say you'll need to get the transfer case removed, or swap to a 25 box if its RWD
  20. i was inadvertently trying to hint at that with my previous post about turbo kits doing it a lot cheaper, but i 100% agree. if they want to waste spend money on something that achieves the same results for a lot more money, let them go for it!
  21. they can be run on a clutch so they may be connected, but not operating. a rebuild doesn't have to be done, it depends on how much boost/power is being pumped through it. either way, unless you are hell bent on a supercharger, its a stupid waste of money, plenty of turbo kits available, will make the same power for a faction of the cost. putting on a SC whilst still on your p's is another stupid idea too. how do you plan on "hiding" something that has to run off the crank, and has to force air thought the intake?
  22. i think its a Do Luck kit actually.. the rims are Gram Lights 57S Pro Titanium too looks good!
  23. $1200 to get my legnum from brisbane, and $1095 to get my 31 from canberra
  24. lol, it's not just "because you drive an import" i've had 3 different modified imports over 5 years now, had one yellow sticker and that was over 4 years ago, and that was for tyres below the wear indicators, which is fine by me.
