  1. the rim itself does look good, however i dont know how it will look on my car, and once i do it, its permanent. that said im trying to sell the bloody thing and i just keep spending money on it :
  2. the lip is ok to do, the inside of the can is a biatch. the spokes kind of go towards it, then merge into it, so its a curve.. i think... :
  3. got me confuzzled.. do you mean the lip, ie the rim around the outside? or the actual inside, ie if it were a can, the inside of the can?
  4. geez, my photoshop skillz arent that good doing a chrome/black lip would be hard with my rims, as they are single piece, and spokes merge into the surround, there is no definate line to coat up too
  5. chrome surround?
  6. i got mine through cowley smash. 9350 5069 ring brett, and tell him mitch sent ya, he will look after you. edit: just looking at the thumbnails on the pics i put up. black looks hot!
  7. is it more cost effective to buy some larger rotors to suit as 4 stud line? ie, gts-t sized rotor, but 4 stud out of the box?
  8. if you have minimal mods on your gtr i doubt you will break it ive got the same clutch, but on a 33 gts-t with about 300rwhp. had it about 18months now and it still launches and drives like the day i bought it.
  9. mine sits on 1/3rd. does that help the slow driving with minimal air passing through the radiator is what will cause the temperatures to rise, however its nothing to be concerned about.
  10. GTR's are fat little bastards. the bar will fit fine on the front, however where it goes around the sides to meet the gaurds, the gtr has wider guards so it doesnt curve around as much, the gts-t has less wide gaurds, so it needs a 'slimmer' bar. if you do call fibrevision, just be careful that the bar does actually fit a gts-t. i bought a bar from them that was supposed to fit a gtst, but the mould was from a gtr, so while the fibreglass flexed and the top could be made to fit, the bottom flared out, looked U G L Y! when i took it to a shop to get fitted and painted, it was actually cheaper for me to buy a whole new bar and start again, good way to waste $500. (this was the apparently the case with all their gts-t bumpers, moulded off a gtr which was supposed to be a gts-t!)
  11. hah, i was waiting for someone to say that. i was hoping someone would do it for me :sorcerer: ill get right onto it! i do like the white on white, but do you know how hard it is to keep clean WHITE MESH rims?! i washed them the other week, took about 30 mins per wheel, and thats just the face, not the back whereas the black will hide the dirt/brake dust a bit more (not much i know, but hey!) and fits in nicely with my white/black scheme... and while bronze does look nice on white, every white rex has bronze rims, ruins it. its a trust front bar, cost me $500 + fitting and painting (probably about $1000 all up for a good job, i had other things done at the time, so i dont know an exact price) im leaning towards a dark grey now actually.. makes the wheel look dark, however the black almost makes it look 'pursuit rim spec' whereas dark grey still shows the spokes etc. *takes a breath* ps. the square brackets in your name stuff up the quoting mikey!!!
  12. well, since my rims are looking a bit stained and marked, im going to get them powdercoated, and it just so happens there is a powder-coater next door to my work anyway, they are currently white, but im contemplating black, or even gunmetal grey? let me know what you all think!
  13. is it a gts-t, and stock turbo/intercooler? or after-market? i bought my skyline about a week before i moved from geraldton to perth, in those 5 days i got pulled over 17 times, no-one knew what it was.. i was told if i ever got a yellow, to go see Des & Jan's Mechanical Services, but ive never actually been there, so i cant really comment.
  14. ive gone though giant nissan in ossy park for all the r33 parts ive needed. but a phone call to them should tell you if they deal with them, or at the worst which branch would do.
  15. nice colour for the engine.. looks good!
  16. they will fill the gts-t gaurds nicely be warned however, for a good condition set, they wont be cheap..
  17. mikey - was frenzel still in the front bar for the dyno run? thats atleast +10rwkw the 32 looked very nice too steve.. getting it finished friday would have been fun...
  18. you can have it spaced...
  19. hey guys, im chasing up if anyone has a radiator guide that i could possibly borrow for a few days? my front bar is one that has the top grill integrated into it, and mine doesnt have a 'top' to the grill. so im trying to make a guide to attach to the brackets on the headlights instead.. rather than bolting on top of the radiator support bar, then down on top of the grill, i want one that goes from the radiator, to the brackets on the side of the headlights. ...that is of course assuming they dont bolt there normally? anyway, even if i could get one to trial fit, would be great! cheers.
  20. god damn andrew.. what caused it to break down? not having the best of luck with this car are you! hopefully it passes over next week, i want to see this thing out on the road, with number plates, and 4 wheels..
  21. im currently helping setting up for our new store.. looks funny seeing the builders/plumbers/etc in vans/utes/trucks out in a yard, then a white 33 in the middle of them all
  22. [quote name='rice boy' date='26 Jul 2006, 10:13 PM' post='2360459' there is some interest one in there. like X35 IARO i dont get it
  23. my custom plates is nothing compared to the black striping, hids, big front bar, big fmic, etc etc...
  24. query for ya... ive got a S1 33 with an aftermarket front bar that has no 'top' to the grill. will the plate still work?
  25. ill take an exhaust cam gear to suit RB25
