i work around the corner from wa suspension in ossy park. took my car there a few months back to have it raised and aligned.. good prices, and drives very smooth now!

chose the trust style front bar again, however it doesnt have the side vents anymore, no indicator cutouts in the front, and its designed for a gts-t, not a gtr like the last one.. black surrounds is just something different, will probably tint the hot-plates too. might be getting some veilside rear pods too, dave is checking if he had some floating around. saw your r32 sitting inside.. didnt even realise it was a skyline, thats how stripped it was should look sweet come autosalon

brett has my car now.. getting new front bar fitted and painted, some panel damage rectified, few scratches painted, rear pods refitted, tail light covers painted black, skyline garnish done in white with black lettering, and a complete buff all over the car... cant wait to see what it looks like when its all done...

i work at a plumbing supply store.. ~3 of my customers have come in with a skyline a couple of times one of them had a screamer pipe, everyone at work wondered what the hell the noise was, mmm gate.

what are the tyres like to drive on? and whats the tread wear rating on them? ive currently got some hankook k104's in 255/40R17's, whilst they are good tyres, i dont think they are wide/grippy enough for my needs

i was thinking about just doing the rear part after i posted.. just before the dif, and back, should be all i need, because its only really where a 3.5" mandrel bent pipe passes under the dif shafts does the exhaust cause any problems for bottoming out, etc. emailed mettams and they doubted it would fit with the stock fuel tank.. but i reckon with a bit of creative thinking, ill get my twin tips ps. with the twin tips.. i was thinking about putting one of those apexi exhaust control valves on one side.. ie. when i dont need power or noise i can make it run off just one 2.5" exhaust, and when i want to give it a squirt, open it up for twin 2.5" goodness

yeah, ive seen that style... i like it better than what i have now. however i still prefer the single tip on either side might ring a few exhaust places and see what the verdict is.. if it can be done on a GTR, i cant see why not on a GTS-T.. both have the same exhaust channel on the left.

yeah.. i rang around a fair bit, everyone gave me outrageous quotes as they didnt want to touch fibreglass (but wouldnt admit it), and they were all reluctant to do any work on the car at all. brett said straight out he would do it for me, and he has had the best price, quickest time, and best attitude of the lot! when i need my rear bar modified for twin exhausts, i know where im taking it

probably about $600? its in pretty good condition, dump pipe is powder-coated, with a small scratch on the bottom, and the cannon has a bit of scratching and a small flat spot on the bottom.

i dont like my 3.5" exhaust with a 4" cannon. the exhaust is too big, so it sits too low under the car, and i hate the look of a milo tin hanging off the back. im essentially after a twin 2.5" system, with a 3" chrome tip on either side of the rear bumper. much like this.. (yes its a stinking holden, but it has the style i like ) anyway.. where would i go to get something like this, and is it do-able? is there room on the right hand side of the car to run the exhaust, or can twin pipes be run down the left hand side, and the second pipe crosses over to the right after the diff? give me answers and/or suggestions! ps. if it works, anyone want to buy a 3" trust dump + really high-flow cat *wink* + 3" -> 3.5" expanding exhaust, with a 4" tip?

first day i drove my tx5 to work.. i was frantically wondering why my skyline wasnt in the staff car-park..

trust front bar... its been on my car, unpainted for quite a while actually..literally havent had the time to take it to a panel beater, so dad is taking it down for me going to see if they can modify it a bit for me however.. has some side vents that i dont particulary like.

front bar fitted and painted, a few little dents and scrapes removed, and probably get them to finish off my R33 level bootlid (wingless)

spoke to brett today, sounded like a top bloke! car goes in on wednesday might get them finish off my flat bootlid too, lol

the front bar, and front guards are different. however im 99% sure the rear guards are the same, the series 2 only had a front face lift.
