  1. just fitting my new 600x300x75 FMIC from the group buy on the forums... (yes the front bar is cracked, some unfriendly pedestrian's felt the need to kick it.. but its getting painted soon enough, so )
  2. my insurance is currently $3,000 for a 260rwhp R33, fair list of mods... drops to 2,2 for a stockish R34 tho.. my policy is tho.. if you cant afford the car + insurance.. you cant really afford the car.
  3. see the handle that you pull to open the door? the backing part to that pulls out too then the door skin should come straight off
  4. drivers door: should be 3 screws at the bottom, and one in the bottom of the cupped handle piece.. remove those, and then remove the plastic backing to the opening handle (just pulls up and out on the rearmost side, and then pull the pull up the plastic piece that has the window controls/etc. unplug the well.. plug and then gently pull the door off, starting at the bottom, and the top will be hooked over the frame ov the door (its all little plastic push tabs, should come off with a little bit of force). passenger door: essentially the same, except there is another screw under the grab handle, under a little tab... and you need to remove the window control for this side aswell.. the rest should be the same as above. im not 100% sure i got every step there, may be one screw or osmething i missed, so just have a look, and if it wont come off when you pull, feel where the restriction is and check for screws there. if you still fail gimme a yell again and ill go check on my car, coz ive got both the skins off at the moment

  9. i'll be selling my modded S1 R33 soonish... looking for ~$19k fair few handling mods, 200rwkw, etc...
  10. mines a S1, with a S2 wing, and only seems to have one set of holes... doesnt mean its not a new boot lid.. but i dont see why they would mount them different.
  11. open the boot, remove the carpet layer.. should be 4 bolts thru the lid that hold the wing down.. (10mm bolt if i remember correctly) unclip the power for the rear brake light while your there too.. my wing basically jut lifted off, however i've known a few people's who have needed to force it off, and it has cracked the paint.. so be careful!
  12. heh, i was originally living in geraldton when i bought my car, but i was moving to perth 5 days later.. in that 5 days i got pulled over 17 times. the police seem to have a problem with me having such a car, and my dad being a cop himself... i dont see how that affects what car i own tho.. :confused:

  16. the boost control itself seems to be a bit dip-py aswell, floating around 10psi.. ive got 3" split dump, 3.5" exhaust, pod filter, ARC 450 FMIC, Microtech LT-12 running a pretty stock config, except its a bit flat at the start of the rev range, and i get 270RWHP (i dont have a picture of my dyno graphy handy, but its pretty much the same as yours, except at the start it gets more power pretty quick, then midrange it flattens off, then it jumps heaps towards the end, and begins to curve down a tad near redline, peaking at 270RWHP at about 135km/h, altho it was dyno'd in 3rd gear) so it should be safe to say you could get another ~30hp, and a more steady graph with some decent management.
  17. those clear rear lights look hot! love the interior too.. if you dont mond me asking, how much did it cost for the clear lights, and it is just clear replacements for the red ones, and red bulbs? or was other items needed?
  18. ya, the high pressure stuff is generally green i dont think id trust pvc pipe as I/C piping.. the middle is a foamy-like substance, its designed to run on a 2/3 full system, so its never actually full, or under pressure, whereas 'pressure pipe' is designed for a full, pressured system, but at 2-3" isnt alot cheaper than steel, if at all.. ill just buy some s/s pipe from work at wholesale price for mine

  25. read a review in autosalon, they had the same thing, just different brand, apparently it did sweet stuff all.
