  1. hey.. thats mine! exactly what im looking to buy soon edit: just noticed it had 2 extra doors in there... im after that without those extra doors
  2. i got my tint done thru novus in geraldton, (mum works there) so i got them to write a signed letter stating 35% had been installed, havent had any issues
  3. 35% is the darkest you can legally have, however i have 30% and my car has been inspected 3 times without a hassle
  4. depends if they are in the way of your head movement if you happen to crash, or if they exptend past the a-pillar, blocking vision that the a-pillar itself doesnt.
  5. oh yeah.. i havent got my lanyard yet either!
  6. bonnet/headlights are same as S1 R33 i believe? its just the front bar/front fenders that are different in the front end edit: the R33 GTR V-spec lights are the S1 shape, but are HID i think.. but non V-spec GTR lights, im pretty sure are a standard R33 S1 light.
  7. you will have wobbly rear tyres the hicas lock bar forms a solid bar between the rear tyres, so they are parallel, and it bolts to the chassis to hold them pointing forward
  8. you changed your name again mikey? good luck with the sale, im heading that way soon... on my search for an R34!
  9. that 2,400 includes standard stuff, like exhaust, fmic, pod filter, bov, rims... so its a decent enough start, then as i get older i can add more mods and pay less insurance
  10. i got quotes for both my current car, and a R34.. for me to have the R33(valued at 20,000) its $3,000 for me to have the R34(valued at 30,000) its $2,400 the R33 has a fair few 'performance, and handling mods' they up the insurance because i have bigger brakes, etc... stopping quicker is bad!
  11. ok, ill straighten out my story.. i enjoy my R33, but in a modded state, it chews more fuel than i would like, seeing as its my daily driver. my reasons for wanting a (stock-ish) R34 is, 1) fuel economy, 2) lower insurance, 3) it looks much nicer, 4) not as common as a R33, 5) newer car, so hopefully more reliable, etc, etc... i basically just want a R34
  12. while looking for a R34 myself... i found this... looks *identical* to yours tdawg... http://www.imports101.com.au/view.php?car=1305
  13. if i could find one with the kit yours has Abo Bob, it would be very nice indeed..
  14. a stock R34 is going to have better fuel economy, and lower insurance costs than my 200rwkW, 5km/L R33, surely
  15. let us know how you went tdawg, i'll be chasing a R34 full exhaust system soon...
  16. oo, please let us know when you find out... i use supavalu and BP a fair bit
  17. ive got a 400R front bar with the official GTR indicators, good condition, $450?
  18. im looking for the best places to pickup a R34 GT-T... after fuel consumption, etc with my 200rwkW R33 GTS-T, im chasing a little more cheaper to run, nicer looking, etc car, thats a bit more 'sensible' power wise aswell. basically its as follows.. R34 GT-T 2 door manual pref. but tiptronic is an option black R34 factory sports kit would be nice, or any kit for that matter, but stock is fine. sunroof (pref.) exhaust (pref.) got ~$30,000 to throw around, but obviously the less, the better. and if anyone is chasing a 200rwkW, white kitted R33 GTS-T, gimme a yell! cheers
  19. those are the highway patrol cars. generally on major open highways like that, they leave their radars on, as soon as you went thru its path, it recorded 135, and he went after you.
  20. heh.. thats probably a good thing tho, calipers coming off mid-drive would be a less than fun experience..
  21. well, my lovely front bar as seen above is now not so lovely.. someone felt it needed some cracks in it, so now it needs to be repaired, thank god i didnt get it painted
  22. i reccomend fibrevision too.. bruce did awesome work with my bar
  23. was gonna say speedywheels, mate has em on his rex.. my sparco ones are nicer than them
  24. willing to swap for my stock LSD, hell my car is in the garage being disassembled at the moment
  25. my rear shocks hiss too, but i can only hear it going over more aggressive speed bumps, or sudden bumps, other than that the exhaust drowns it out if it makes noise... edit: ive got tein HA too..
