  1. please do, i plan on doing mine very soon, i was looking at that exact paint in supercheap a couple of weeks ago, except they only had red/purple then...
  2. heh, no problem.. im really after a R34 GTR one (or a replica anyway) to hack onto the S2 R33 legs.. thus not having a crappy looking bootlid, and a wing
  3. well his signiture does say 'tork shit'...
  4. Hankook K104's have a Y Speed rating.. think its 300+ Y is what you want, Z is tested to 240km/h, but they say its rated of 300 up, where as Y is tested up to 300 i beleive...
  5. Black R34 GT-T wing.... i want it!
  6. mine flutters with a turbosmart BOV.. the tension in the spring is just a little tighter so that the air cant hold the piston open for long, so it does lots of little sharp bursts only does it when you ease off the throttle tho, when you let off fully its just a normal bov sound
  7. sure thats a 4.5" tip? ive got a 4" tip on my R33 and it fills up much more of the stock rear bar..
  8. heh got it off, brute force and WD40 save the day! now to attend to my crumbling cat...
  9. ya, its got a good coating of ED40 on it.. the main problem is not being able to get the car up enough to get a decent sized spanner onto it.. might steal my house mates jack
  10. i can hear something rattling around in my exhaust/cat.. so anyway i tried to unbolt where my cat meets the exhaust.. one bolt came of relatively easily, whereas the second one wont budge.. ive tried soaking it in WD40, small ring spanners, large ring spanners, large shifters.. basically the longest items i can use while having the car jacked up (which is only about 8"..) any other suggestions on how to get this lovely bolt off, short of taking it to an exhaust place? its not that big an issue that i want to spend money on it, thus trying to do it myself
  11. my housemate might be interested in one for his rex.. ill ask him tomorrow
  12. oo, very nice.. i wanted to do mine anodized blue with white letters (white car, white rims) will have to get onto it when the car is off the road!
  13. if anyone needs a hand with deck installations, im willing to help me and my housemate have done quite a few deck/speaker/amp installs now, so its pretty much down pat, and a carton/bottle of something would cover the costs
  14. probably the one i had installed a few months ago damono... very nice clutch, smoothish when you want it to be.. or it grabs hard when you want to go
  15. run a new direct line off the battery, with a decent gauge wire, and a fuse a couple of inches off the battery... shouldnt have many problems then
  16. i just picked up some BCP6ES's from supercheap too.. seemed repco only stocked the iridium/platium variants, and didnt want to order the copper ones for me.. was even more fun for finding plugs for my mates wrx... repco didnt want to know about it, ended up finding some "bosch super 4" plugs from supercheap... look decent (they have 4 prongs i guess.. what ever the bit that bends over the top of the tip is anyway ), but havent installed them yet, so no word on performance
  17. fibrevision are great, got a slightly customised trust front bar for my S1 R33, looks awesome!
  18. oo, im in balcatta.. might give it a try, cheers!
  19. after attempting to raise my car a tad, it seems that i need to compress the springs on my suspension a little bit so i can move the 2 nuts up... and i dont really want to pay the $170 i saw spring compressors for in repco the other day.. so if anyone can suggest a substanially cheaper place to get some in the next day or 2, or can lend me some for a couple of days, it would be greatly appreciated.
  20. im with Neo_R34... i stuck a set of 255/235 17's on my R33, awesome tyres!
  21. i sell tools + supplies to the previously mentioned hole diggers i think its quite evident as to what my name is.. but yes.. i work at reece plumbing supplies in ossy park, currently as front counter sales, but assistant manager has been put forward to happen in the next 12-18 months (currently training in '2IC duties' ie. bulk amounts of paperwork -_-) the job is actually alot better than it sounds, simply because the people i work with are a great bunch, and alot of the trade customers that i have become to know over the past 6 months being in the job (13 months if you count doing the same job, but in geraldton) are a good laugh, not to mention giving the new apprentices shit (not literally )
  22. i may have a stock R33 turbo free soon.. once i find out how easy/hard it is to fit a TD04 to my RB25...
