  1. heh... mines truely gone now i think, but its booked in at hyperdrive to get a new brass button single plate clutch, and possibly a ECU re-tune, so it will be all good soon
  2. yeeeess... im waiting on my tyres to come in so they can be put on my car... severe lack of rear tread at the moment is fun... driving up a hill last night in the downpour... i think i was going sideways quicker than up
  3. its a bit iffy tho... mines got 9's on the rear, and 8.5 up the front and has passed over 3 times...
  4. rims can be up to 2" larger in diameter, and no wider than 7.5", unless it came stock with wider, also they cannot protrude from the wheel arch
  5. cool at the moment there is one other interested party, but he seems to be hesitating, so its pretty much just you for now
  6. ken reckons an xtreme single plate brass button clutch and lightened flywheel is going to be a much better option for my car, and about 1/3rd the price of a replacement twin plate os giken with standard flywheel.... Strisch9 - my clutch pedal used to be extremely hard, and is still relatively hard now, im taking it to hyperdrive some time next week to let them have a looksee and tell me what the verdict is, i just want my clutch working before i try venture 500km to geraldton.. and then back and then if i do get my clutch done, will most likely get my ECU retuned while im in there, having unburnt fuel all over the back of my car is kinda sucky...
  7. update... after just trying some more stress testing.. it went weird... all out flooring it, quarter mile style, it went pretty much fine... however cruising in a gear, then planting it and dipping the clutch sees it bouncing off the rev limter and not coming back down or transfering anything to the wheels... and normal driving was pretty bad, and takeoffs were rough as hell, have to launch at ~2500-3000rpm to get it somewhat properly, any lower and it vibrates like hell
  8. ive got a permit for my FMIC and induction system (i assume this is just my pod) previous owner of the car had it.. it has gotten me off almost getting a yellows for my *exhaust* lol! copper told me he was going to give me a yellow, so i whipped out the permit, and just said 'yeah the air comes in thru the pod, runs thru the FMIC, then passes out the exhaust, so it needs to be large and hiflowing due to the air coming in' cop: '.......oh... well.... its good you have a permit there! *grumpy whinge*'
  9. well.. on the way home it decided it wanted to sort of do the same thing... but i couldnt really thrash it, lack of tread + rain == slippery skyline... cant tell if its reving out, or spinning the rear wheels half the time
  10. and to think that dump truck will beat your skyline in its current state looks alright dude, good luck
  11. well, after speaking to ken at hyperdrive this morning, and cringing over the price of a replacement twin plate clutch... he told me to basically go thrash the car thru the gears for a bit.. to which i did, and my clutch seems to be fixed! rang him again, seems like oil or something may have been on the plates/flywheel... going to see how it goes in the next few days and hopefully ken just saved me $1000 by telling me to thrash what seemed to be a broken clutch you know its good when you have to thrash your car to fix it
  12. just went for a little drive, nothing strenuous... then my car started to rev out once it hit 3500RPM... like it would accelerate fine up to ~3500, then after than it just revved, but seemed like nothing be transfered to the wheels, as if i had the clutch engaged... now its a twin plate clutch (nfi on brand, was in the car when i bought it) nfi on age either, altho im lead to beleive its sub 12months... when i stopped at lights with it in nuetral, taking off the clutch seemed to be fine for a bit, then ****ed up again... like it had the normal 2 grab points... then taking off without a prolonged stop, it would only have one grab point on takeoff... the gearbox oil had redline shockproof put in it last july... could old/lack of oil be the problem? or has the clutch shat itself? thanks in advance.
  13. its an NO2 sprayer i beleive... having a mind blank at the moment.. its that gas that freezes stuff... designed to blow extremely cold air thru the IC when driving.
  14. pics sent RTHRTY3... i got it from extreme machines in willetton, however i dont reccomend them... took them 5 weeks when they told me 4 days... i even paid the full amount up front! rang ~5 times and got told i would be rang back, never did, so i went in there, and they said 'oh, thats sitting out the back'.
  15. im chasing a set of cheap rims with a legal amount of tread still on them... to fit my R33 GTST, so stock rims would be great, but basically anything 16" or bigger, and cheap will do me that said, i dont actually need the complete set, a pair would do me, but a set of 4 would be ideal, post away with what you have guys. cheers
  16. how much you willing to spend? i love my JVC KD-AR7000, cost me $700 http://www.jvc.com/product.jsp?modelId=MOD...DL027174&page=2
  17. maybe its meant to be $4000...
  18. $400 for the scooter?!
  19. im selling my 400R front bar, about 2 months old, few slight under it from agressive speed bumps.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...516#post1256516
  20. this is the trust one... (it actually looks different in real life, need a side on shot to really see it, and the one i want is a little different too, thats a rip off one i beleive...)
  21. after a not-so-recent now meeting with a kerb due to other great drivers, i bought a 400R style front bar to replace my jigsaw puzzle one... now after fitting it and whatnot, i have come across the trust front bar and falllen in love so basically i have a ~2 month old 400R front bar that i would like to sell... at the moment it has a dodgy white/black lip colour on it (1-2 coats) and a full primer undercoat... but then it would need to be sanded/etc to paint the new colour of your car anyway, so thats no big deal.. looking for ~$500 (cost me $600 new)for it, its essentially brand new, no dents/cracks, has a small amount of grazes on the very bottom, nothing noticable tho... comes with full mesh for all the vents, and if needed i can sell my official nissan GTR indicators with it too ($150 new.. each). preferably perth buyers, but if your willing to pay postage, i cant see a problem or if you have a trust bar and want a 400R bar, im willing to trade! heres a few pics..
  22. ive got Kumho 711 on the back atm, and 712 on the front the 711's are utter shit.. 712's have done very well on the front, and ive seen them do well on the back of a similar spec R33 to mine.. and for the price im getting them for, theres no real harm in trying em
  23. im just about to pick up a new set of them in about 2 weeks JiMih... 255/40R17 rear 235/45R17 front
  24. very nice... im in the middle of a painting frenzy atm.. think i might change my white rims to black too... i always wanted too, but thought it was too hard..
