Yes i changed all the wiring,dash looms wiring from the ecm and tcm. Installed the tiptronic cluster, ecm, shift controle module even the tiptronic shifter. Only switch that i do t have is the steering wheel switch.

So the whole rb25de neo setup was a tiptronic setup and i swapped everything over to my rb20de neo setup and yes even the cluster of the rb25 was swapped over.

@GTSBoy i tried to jumper the wires and got the steering wheel light to come on which is right under the gear indication but that still doesnt come on. Can it be an issue with my cluster?

Hello all, so i recently swapped out my rb20de neo with an rb25de neo( engine,transmission, wiring and the diff everything) but i just cant get the gear indication light on the dash to work when i switch to tiptronic mode. Note there is a steering wheel switch beside the shifter and i dont have that. I did notice yesterday while switching to tiptronic that the indicator on the dash started to work but it didn't afterwards. Does anyone know how this actually works? Or do i still need that steering wheel switch to be connected and on for that gear indicator to work?

So a small update, i continued with using the RB20 wiring on the RB25 trans and engine and the car runs good but i have to drive the car under 3000rpm otherwise its being rev limited and doesn't want to shift to another gear, i removed the ABS fuse and shifting went smoothly only thing is the KM and ABS doesn't work but i wasn't being limited till 3000rpm. So are their possibilities that the speed sensor 2 is creating issues? and does anyone know where its located cause the RB25 trans has nothing on the tail like the C35 Laurel.

I guess i should just give it a try and see what complications i het allong the way?

The ecu i was going to connect to the setup is a 23740-0V010 ecu of a stagea that has ecm and tcm in one

Hii all, I am doing a rb25de neo engine and transmission swap on my r34 but wanna keep the rb20de harness so i spliced and joint the transmission cables(speed sensor, park neutral switch and solenoids) where needed cause the rb20 wiring is ecm.tcm i already found an rb25 ecu with ecm tcm in one instead of separate cause my rb20 setup was ecm tcm. The rb25 transmission has an turbine sensor , does the turbine sensor need to be connected or can i just leave it disconnected? Are there any issues that i will run into with you the setup?

Hey all, I am currently busy with a rb25de neo engine swap on my r34 which used to have a rb20de neo engine but i am stuck with the transmission wiring at the moment i was planning to swap the ecu wiring but the wiring loom that is on the rb25 trans has 3 plugs and i dont know what the fuction of it is. The rb20de neo wiring loom only has a female plug for one of the plugs and the rb 25de neo comes with 3.All the wiring from the starter altenator and part of the fuse box have been sorted out exept for the three plugs pictured. Hope you guys can help out.

Hello everyone, I am currently rebuilding my RB25DE NEO engine. And i was planning to buy a rebuild gasket kit but when i search for the rb25de neo gasket kit i only come across the rb25det neo gasket kit. My question is wil the rb25det gasket kit work for the rb25de neo? And also i was planning of changing my piston rings and bearings but i also come across the rb25det neo piston rings, are the rb25de neo and rb25det neo piston rings and bearings the same?

Nah man i have another r34 and i am trying to use the orange skyline as a parts car and salvage as many as possible. I opened the rb25de neo engine yesterday and there are a lot of suprises in the engine. Will upload the videos in a minute. Yes there were alot of skylines like 10years back in suriname. But maintenance is hard for the people here so the cars end up dead or scrapped. I have a college who has a r34 sedan with a rb25det neo engine and nismo cluster etc.

This car has been sitting for approx. 10 years. I pulled it out of a ER34 which I bought for $250 So I was thinking to take the engine apart and check if its still good if yes I was thinking of rebuilding it and swapping it with my RB20de Neo. also down the road I was thinking to convert it into a Rb25de-t. someone went already to buy some parts of this car and they left the bonnet open I think for years so I hope not to see any other surprises down the teardown. the car came with the auto Trans, eco, wiring, cluster the RB25de neo

Hello everyone, I'm recently opened my rb25de Neo valve cover (Exhaust side) and I noticed that the wall where the rocker cover gasket sits in was oxidized and fell off. my question is can this be fixed? or should i just swap it with the RB20de neo cover and are the rb25de neo and rb20de neo covers the same?
