Hey sorry, I completely forgot to get back to you Since I've fitted them, I've driven around 5000kms, mostly highway but with some hard, spirited driving. So far they've held up with no issues. Haven't had any weird noises or any of the adjustment issues. The mechanics who fitted the arms also said there were no issues with fitment and adjusting them, which is the whole point of aftermarket arms. I would say the car feels a bit more responsive and sturdier when turning in but, I did get a lot of other parts installed with the arms so can't confidently say if that's because of the arms. The traction arms are the ones where you can feel the difference. Once again, did get a bunch of parts so take it with a grain of salt but, the car definitely feels more planted and hooks up better during hard/aggressive acceleration. Had a similar issue with my car where some of the nozzles were blocked and didn't shoot at all, while other nozzles were partially blocked and shot water over the windscreen. I just got a sewing needle and picked at the nozzles and that seemed to fix everything. If that doesn't work it might be something else in the washer system. The nozzle system part is 28932JK01B and you should be able to order it from Amayama.

Was this custom setup done by yourself or did you go through a shop? How much time and money do you reckon something like this would cost/take ?

Currently looking into available exhaust options for the Skyline Coupes CKV36. Was wondering what people run, as our cars aren't heavily supported in AUS. Well aware that you can run 370Z exhausts on our car with an extension pipe but my import has the 4WAS module stuck to the back of the diff making it incompatible with most available G37/370Z exhausts (HKS, Motordyne, ARK, etc). The 370Z exhaust all bend inwards towards the back of the diff before straightening out making it incompatible. I was initially looking at Tomei for the weight savings but it hangs way too low for it to be driveable + do not want to be a police magnet. (NSW Limit 90dB -> Tomei 112dB) Bit of a reach but if anyone here has a Skyline Coupe CKV36 with a 4WAS module, what exhaust setup are you running?

Likewise AHA, spent more than what i bought the car for. It's definitely a bit hard to justify but growing up playing NFS underground always wanted to mod a car. If you're going to mod it might as well do it properly the first time, it'll save you time and money in the long run right?

Thanks! Including labor, it cost me around 15k. Most of it was taken up by wheels (~4.2k), tyres (~2k), and coils (~2.7k). Arms (~1k), braces (~1k), swaybars, endlinks & bushings (~750), rotors (~500), lines (~500), labor (~3k). Will and Richard did the work from Proworks Automotive NSW. Looking into doing the exhaust (catback + hfc + header) next, but running into compatibility problems with ride height, and the 4was module stuck to the back of the diff. After 2 years of waiting and stockpiling parts, redid most of the suspension setup (Coils, arms, braces, swaybars, endlinks, bushings, wheels, tyres, rotors, lines, pads) for the skyline coupe Went out and got some photos.

Installed my arms today along with a bunch of other suspension and brake parts. Will get back to you in a couple weeks time

Hey, thanks so much for the reply Noted, I've decided to go with Hardrace components. No reviews on the v36 products and they are a bit more expensive than GKTech, but they've got an AUS branch so don't need to worry about shipping and warranty. Also heard they have a very good rep in the Honda community and they make some good quality stuff.

Hey, I know its been a while since the last post but was wondering if I could get your thoughts on how the GKTech suspensions arms have been holding up? Currently looking for control arms to fit my 08 coupe, but the only available options without importing seems to be GKTech or SPL. Even though SPLs are highly regarded, its a bit hard to justify spending $3k+ for FUCAs, rear traction arms, and rear camber arms, when the car won't be driven on track any time soon. GKTech's products seem very well priced, but there seem to be mixed opinions on the quality of GKTech products on the US 370z/G37 forums. What are your thoughts so far on the GKTech suspension arms? Any issues so far other than the spacing you mentioned? Thanks 😃

Does anyone know of or recommend any mechanic shops that specialise in VQ/Nissan/Import vehicles within the Sydney region?
