some times in my gtr ill sk8 round a corner and as normal the 4wd system will come in.........then when i drive normal again the light comes on and stays on then when im parking or turning i can hear a weird noise from the front of the gearbox i turn off the car start it........every thing is fine some times it wont happen for months, then bam there it is again why is this soo???

at first i thaught that too but.....when i had the wheels balanced we could see that all the rims were True so that eliminates that what bout the offset? its +17 should that make a difference to drivability ??

thanks mr r33 i have already pulled the instrument cluster out.......and have found that i need a new speedo cable as i can turn the little plastic joiner.....in the back of the speedo and it moves but when the cable spins it just spins in the back of it...........i found what i was after at a wrecker.......it was also cracked like my one i asked for a price he said $30............i told him to lick my balls so i orderd a new speedo cable and every thing from nissan $113......... ohh well thanks

bump............i have also checked the speedo cable at the gear box end looks ok..........pulled out the unit..with the teeth on it that is in the gear box that looks good too...............why doesnt my speedo work?

i have an r32 gtr owned it about 4 months no problems yesterday speedo stoped working 5 min later hicas stoped working soo steering feels heavy i have been through all the posts and checked every thing in the car fuses, toped up power steering fluid......etc now the speedo still doesnt work but the power steering works for around 3 min of driving then stops and hicas light comes on i have it booked into an auto electrician tomorrow is there any thing else i can check b4 hand?? also i have 2 fuses missing #2 Electronic parts and #3 transmission control what are they to do with thanks

as topic says im after some cheap 17X9 rims to fit an r32gtr with r33 calipers and disks... if any one has any thing they are trying to get rid of.......in MELBOURNE please send pics and description to [email protected] with tyres or with out..not fussed

just pulled a front wheel off checked the offset, i konw gtr's are ment to have +40 my cr emotions are +17 could that be the problem, also there is a little bit of movement with my front drive shafts, and the actual disk rotor???

i was talking bout my steering wheel wobbles......... some times it does it some times it doesnt very annoying

i have an R32 gtr...pretty stock, trust front pipes, hks exhaust and 17X9 work cr emothions i have noticed that when my car hits around 110-120km an hour the steering wheel wobbles around heaps its really shitting me, i have had my wheels balanced and aligned......what else can it be? could it possibly be the front drive shafts? i have noticed when i am in reverse it feels like there is a little slack some where from when i put my foot down and i hear a little clunk, as in there is like movement in a uni joint or some thing......then it moves.... also some times ill hammer round a corner the back will slide out, front wheels come in and then when i begin to drive normal again the 4wd light will come on and stay on and the Torque split guage will sit on 10%..........then i turn the car off on agin and its gone and may not do it agin for a week or more........??? thanks

b4 any one starts yes i have searched and read, and called performance places and........had a pull in the process My dilemma, I have a 89 r32 GTR pretty stock, just spun the clutch now slips almost all the time no new news there. Im looking at pumping around 300kwaw ish, and have been recommended a few different clutches, my car is a daily driver but also I drive my cars hard……..”ice performance”, and “race pace” have recommended a similar set up a excedy heavy duty cushion button clutch “10 puck was mentioned” and have told me that should be great for the power im after, not slip, take launches, and last for quite a while. But other sources have told me as soon as I start to approach the 300kw mark it will spin….and have recommended a 3 or 4 puck excedy….keeping that in mind I have been told a 4 puck may only last me 2-3months…….. You can see that im getting nowhere fast each view contradicts the other…..and vice versa I’m hoping to go single plate, at the moment any way Just hoping some one can help verify whats been said just to make it a little more simple 1. I plan to run 300kwaw give or take 2. Don’t want clutch to spin 3. Want it to last 4. Want single plate 5. will be doing 6k launches 6. Don’t want to spend more then 2k What will meet my criteria ?? does any one know of a manufacture or supplier of flexible aluminium piping approx 80-100mm ?? i have seen it on cars around, used as cold air intake...........smooth on the inside and out side ive been searching but cant find any thing close to what im after thanks

need some help on finding performance parts for my r32gtr, where are the cheapest/popular places in vic/melb to find, adjustable cam gears,..and other goodies.....what brand's are worth looking at and what prices are good? i was looking at getting new front pipes, what brands and where to go? im not lazy ive done a shit load of searching and have gotten no where.....im i a dumb ass....possibly....hehe also i want to upgrade the ecu so as most of you i have been looking at the apexi PFC, but i dont know if i really want to keep the AFM's, i was looking at upgrading them but like them also i cant find any better ones round......2nd hand or new what other ems are out there that are around the 2k mark and dont use afms that people would recommend?? if people could post me links, or numbers to call that would be appreciated.....i have so far emailed race-pace, and 2 others just waiting on a response also who here has done a cold air intake to a r32gtr air box and upgraded their panel filter? does this task involve using a hole saw to go through the bottom of the box and the metal under it and running flex pipe to the front bar?? any DIY pics or write ups round??
