I cleaned the AAC and AYC, replaced coil packs, fuel pump, fuel filter, all the lines. My thoughts were that it was fuel related (hence a stab of the throttle to pick the fuel pressure up) but it could just as well be not enough air, so no, i'm out of ideas too man .

That said, OEM coils can be had for around the same money now (if you know where to look apparently, and I did ) and they are proven to be 150,000km items .

I'll take gearbox if it's still available.

your starting issues are fairly similar to my 32 gts-t which every cold start struggles to get up to idle. A short tap of the pedal usually gets it to idle perfectly so I have never bothered to track the fault down. Did your random power cut out issues go away? I had exactly the same thing and it was definitely the AFM plug getting dry joints plus having an aftermarket BOV. I presume given you are getting TPS voltage you are using consult? if not give that a test and make sure it isn't throwing up any fault codes.

lol so when you say N1 what you mean is pov pack series 1 R32 gts /-t/4. Clips can be had from nissan for 80 dollars from memory.

TBH I did find this somewhat interesting. It would be better if you had some time sheets to compare. The other thing is that commodore/falcon ratios are much taller and such even though you may be on top of him over short distances you'll probably find the falcon has a much better top speed.

It can be calculated by using the formula: 792,000 X BHP divided by (engine displacement in cubic inches X RPM). This figure is useful in comparing different engines operating on different fuels and the highest figure occurs at torque peak. The average range for atmo engines is 150 to 225 psi. Turbocharged race engines may exceed 1000 psi. Peak cylinder pressure (PCP)is the maximum chamber pressure achieved during the combustion process. This figure would normally be in the 600 to 2000 psi range.
