  7. ZOMG Muztek, do you know James?
  8. Perfect for a GT-R, except mixed widths.. so completely useless for a GT-R.
  9. Gaurd - Pick Up sometime this week $50.
  10. BOM is clear.. hate to be up north right now though http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDR021.loop.shtml#skip
  11. Wow never heard of these Following the war, in order to better serve the civilian market, the Turbo-Compound[2] system was developed in order to deliver better fuel efficiency and thus economy ("gas mileage"). In these versions of the engine, three power recovery turbines (PRT) were inserted into the exhaust piping of each group of six cylinders and geared to the engine crankshaft by fluid couplings in order to deliver more power (rather than by using the exhaust to deliver additional boost as in a turbocharger). The PRTs recovered about 20 percent of the exhaust energy (around 500 HP) that would have otherwise been wasted, but unfortunately had a negative effect on engine reliability, causing many aircraft mechanics of the day to nickname them "Parts Recovery Turbines" (and worse). The failures concerned would probably have been of exhaust valves and related parts since the turbines would have both increased backpressure & increased the operating temperature of the exhaust valves causing greater wear and failure.[citation needed] Straight from wiki
  12. Looks like a 350z to me
  13. Interesting looking tyres there Grant :S.

    Federals?

I had heard on the grapevine, that the particularly cheap batch of KU36 that were sold recently in AUS were a defective batch with a poor composition that resulted in very high wear rates. My set seem to have lasted well but i'm not sold on the wet handling. As limpus points out they seem unpredictable in the wet. Nothing on the RE01s that came with the car .
  15. Wanzi, master of the spotted thread.
  16. My GF drives a gunmetal gts-t 4-door maybe you saw her? Also mines purple not grey .
  17. No pics of the interior atm because it's sort of unfinished. And the engine bay isn't particularly exciting because i've gone out of my way to make it stock looking (well except that the covers are all painted blue ). Will try and get something though. Last weekend at the top of buller sub 3 degree weather fresh after a detail. Copyright Basti.
  18. Ya Basti gets all the glory for the Nerf except 3 of those mavericks were mine and most of the darts. Impressively I got almost 1/2 back .. the lodge owner is gonna hate the site of those things . I saw a few stuck up on windows and in unreachable places hah . Had a great time all round (360 degrees wasn't that great though) and will definitely aim to be there next time . Nerfing the crap out of each other was a highlight. It was great just to time out, 1.8km up in the pooring rain, with no where to go but hang out with a dozen or so great peeps . I got held up on the way home by a commodore that i'm sure was taking the piss shortly followed by 10 members of the local 4x4 club on the first corner of the spur . Wasn't a bad thing in the end when my heart was racing puttering at idle past all you guys pulled over trying to be hella-not-there. Also really enjoyed the quality and presentation of everyones cars! Some great sounding machines and hella-flush fitments on 180s! The only 32 4-door faux-gtr there was mine more info here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...26-t158104.html
  19. Having a look at the pipework, it's more like 70mm with a 60mm reducer on the turbo. So we going the fabrication option. AR 60. and yeah i'm surprised to see so few on RB20s most people go straight for bigger or rebuilt option.
  20. Ya I guess this is probably the only solution
  21. I have one of these with a 6 bolt rear flange mounting to go on an RB20. I did not however realise that the intake flange is 75mm where as the factory setup for RB20 is only 60mm. What is the common approach to getting around this?
  22. Ya I do. Not sure on condition will have a look later.
  23. Black one is definately the same as my R32 GTS-t pedal. The GT-R pedal doesn't have weleded in studs.
  24. White 4-door 34 parking in flinders lane, gave you a wave .
  25. I have a similar thing but 32. Definately go for a manual if you want to gt-r it. GL on the tail lights, has been done once and was a lot more work than close to justifying the effort . Also in that picture I notice Autech. They did make production runs of 4-door GT-Rs for R33s.
