OK. So having bought my fair share of skylines, silvias and other bits and pieces I have now met my match with this one. My Mother's car got written off in hail storm and I put my hand up to help her look at cars. God I didn't realise how drab new cars get after you look at 20 of the things . Mum doesn't like access in low cars or cars with buckets - rules out most cars I like. Wants something with enough space to do the shopping, preferably with enough seating in the back to get 6'4" son in the back. HAS TO BE A NICE BLUE.
25G to spend
We've looked at most of the new cars on offer and really only the jazz seems to be interesting (although we haven't been to ford yet and we haven't test driven any of the mazdas).
Going down the 2nd hand path the Mark V golf was an excellent drive and definately a good candidate. I was thinking a WRX could be interesting, perhaps an is200 or even Mx5?
I'm starting to understand why people just go and buy these things rather than give them a lot of thought. It's just depressing how many options there are and how little difference there seems to be between a lot of them. I like shopping for performance cars it's easier to get passionate and excited about buying these . Anybody else going through this lately?
