  1. There once was a lass called merowyn... Always good when you suspect the worst but find it's far less .
  2. I'd love to give you the answer but I honestly can't remember it may have been R32 specific as well. Perhaps the easiest way is simply to PM 'URAS' . Basically.. you can just drive it up to 80 with overdrive off and then use the throttle carefully.. but as pointed out it gives a pretty crappy dyno run and wont really show you anything. The OP I believe is asking how to lock it into 1:1 so that they can tune it.
  3. Wow.. seriously.. I had a quick look at it beautiful. And it has a racepace engine now.. ya i'll try and make it to the next track day you are doing ^_^.
  4. As I said.. one of the fuses from memory will force the gearbox to stay in 3rd (or 1:1).
  5. Glaze: is that an N1? There was a white 32 which looked sorta right .
  6. My tuner showed me how to do it. You unplug something from memory.. maybe a fuse? It's very simple and then it will stay in 3rd. But em.. what that thing is.. hmm .
  7. "cruise" up the 1000 steps with us http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Th...ml#entry5190388 Due to popular request!
  8. We're going to be cruising up the thousand steps on Sunday at 10:30am via feet. Everybody is welcome . To get there you need to find this place- Mt Dandenong Tourist Rd, VIC 3786, Australia Link: <http://maps.google.com/maps?q=-37.888673,145.3176&num=1&sll=-37.883019,145.295404&sspn=0.035231,0.06403&ie=UTF8&ll=-37.891027,145.320604&spn=0.016104,0.026157&z=16> We will meet under the large archway at the top of the car park. Bring yourself, dress appropriately (there are 770 odd stairs which can get slippery if it has rained recently + a few kilometers at each end). This event is restricted to good weather and I will update this thread if things aren't looking great. Hope to see you there.
  9. New headlights all running beautifully. Had a great cruise down the great ocean road with the other Vic SAU members.
  10. I'm after the reo bar (metal what sits behind the front bar ).
  11. I do Shane.. sitting on the camera, which is still sitting in the camera bag, which is still sitting in my car . Soon. Also.. stereo fitting.. you know you want to. but ya.. the steering wheel really needs to be seen in context with the rest of the dash .
  12. Lol they are on my stock 32 gt-r rims .
  13. Seeing this wheel in the flesh I must say I was very impressed. Really suits the car..
  14. Awesome cruise.. bummer to Grant. Vegetarian sausage is all I will add.
  15. Would one of these be a good option for an RB20 potentially soon to be upgraded to an R34 RB25de+t? In the 180-200rwkw range.
  16. Yup had these on my car for over a year now. Bought them in Japan.
  17. Firstly.. this should probably in one of the technical forums. Secondly it depends which brand alternator is in your car. Your local nissan dealer should be able to point you in the right direction, otherwise take it to an auto electricians until one doesn't say 'you can't service these' . I was lucky enough to stumble upon an auto elec near by who regularly services the local nissan dealers cars. 40 dollars and 2 hours or so turn around from memory. Also it might be worth pointing out that if you are going to do any work on it.. it is probably worth getting it tested first. Bearings also have a habit of getting tired in these.
  18. Would be 4 stud given that it's from an NA (admitantly RB30de) car.
  19. Ya went today.. good views.. exciting on the way down.. lots of noobs.
  20. Ya and also.. part numbers can easily be found from here: http://klippan.com.au/
  21. It's on the power steering pump bracket. It sits at the end and winds the pump up and down the bracket. You usually have to loosen off the bolt that holds the pump on to the block as well and give it a tap with a hammer depending how tight it was all done up.
  22. You can buy these new from Klippan (repco is reseller) I have some part numbers in the general mechanical section.
  23. Hmm I actually want to buy a set. Any idea where they can be had?
  24. Thanks for update on condition.

    Dt Panels.

Another one with thumbs up for DT. I've been happy with their work and it's been what 3 years now? DT recently matched some more panels for me and the colour is perfect. Vu is always around to answer questions.
