  1. http://www.thatpartsplace.com/nte%20pdf%20...s/hs_tubing.pdf This would be sufficient.
  2. I did something really stupid and cut the power cables inside the fuel tank to the fuel pump on the plug to the Walbro pump. Given that it has a harness rather than just direct wire on terminals like the Bosch units I had installed in the past I can't see any way to fix it without soldering bare cable which will be inside the tank. The risk of shorting is obviously a very serious problem so I will need to insulate it. Other than put the cable inside a piece of fuel hose, I thought there might be heat shrink that is resistant to fuel. I have found ISO 1817 heat shrink is what I need but I can't find any supplier in Victoria (Bursons, Pirtek and Repco). Any ideas? In case you didn't know, petrol is very good a dissolving adhesives and breaking down a lot of plastics. I haven't tested the heatshrink I have as to whether it degrades but I am concerned that even after an hour it might not have changed, that doesn't necessarily mean it wont be effected 2 months later.
  3. Accelerator stuck.. why couldn't they just turn the engine off?
  4. Yeah it is amazing just how common it is I think a statistic I heard was around 90% of homes in American, and a similar number in Australia use Asbestos containing materials . I believe it is higher for schools. There is however all sorts of things to consider with respect how dangerous it is. In general if it is in situ and not damaged it is fairly harmless for example. That is one of the jobs I do, provide risk assessment so that companies and organisations can assess what the best approach to managing asbestos is.
  5. Asbestos is harmless if swallowed. It is only the respiratory system which is affected. And yes Asbestos could be substituted for smoking, i'm not sure it would provide quite the same feeling though but the hazard is about the same!
  6. You will be fine until about 20 years later when you will 5-10% more likely to develop cancer and in particular Mesothelioma or cancer of the lining of the lung which is at this stage completely incurable and see you essentially drown to death in your own lung juice in a year or two. Alternatively you will be fine. So ya.. about the same as if you smoked a few cigarettes really .
  7. Patience lol also it might get a better response in the complete car section.. Just make it clear in the title it has no engine in it atm .
  8. Health, Safety and Environmental Consultant . At the moment i'm working almost exclusively with hazardous materials.. in particular Asbestos. If you have any questions about hazardous materials (particularly at your work place) fire me a PM . Love my job. Before this job I was running the Parkdale Bottleshop.
  9. popcorn just tastes like butter flavour anyway. Caesar was the pick of the bunch IMO.
  10. Wow 2 years later and still not running?
  11. Actually I reread the thread and the data is fairly conclusive. Dead turbo results in ceramic dust being embedded in the piston on the exhaust side, check the photos out . http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/De...ad-t283890.html
  12. I tried to find an answer to that very question Brandon and no one came forth as such. Still it appears to be common knowledge so it would be highly recommended to make sure you are running safe boost levels for stock turbos.
  13. +1 nistune I also have a gts-4 (although manual) with a 26 and trent had no problems tuning my car. Advise is to call around though as I believe a lot of workshops are quite booked out atm!
  14. That video after you put the screamer on is one of the most sick making videos i've watched hahaha. That camera position was terrible! Reminded me of last time I got trashed and came home in the back of someones 180 .
  15. How does one get onto PI? .
  16. Dish-cieving? +1 GTS-4 very tidy.

  19. Yeah i'm giving some serious thought to corona running gear, KE70 gearbox and 4age out of Seca SX .
  20. Sorry yeah I re-read and he wants to put an AWD RB20 sump on an RB25 RWD engine.
  21. i read through the buyer protection and it only makes reference to purchases made through eBay. Items off these forums would not therefore be included.
  22. Really I would say you have 3 options, put another RB20 out of another gts4, put an RB25 out of a stagea AWD or an R26. Converting to rwd is rather silly as you would be pulling out all the front drive, then replacing the suspension (at least a few parts) with gts-t items. In which case you probably would have been far better off putting another stock RB20 in and selling the car and just buying a gts-t .
