damn I got plans otherwise i'd finally put my 4 door down the 1/4 .

Sorry was a good mate of mines mint SII gts-t (from monash nissan club). He got clobbered pulling out of the princes, was really really sad. .The car was a write off. I despise those of you who instantly assumed it was his fault. Thankfully he's on full comp insurance.

Ok thanks a lot guys, will have a look. The car was running perfectly yesterday (just put an 044 in) until about an hour of driving, then the steering got really heavy to the point of not having power steering (big deep sigh). Anyway after it had cooled down the powersteering was back to perfect... this doesn't bode well.. bloody 32s!

damn it.. I only got my fuel pump in yesterday . Looks like heaps of fun, wish I had made it.

Ohh joy . Yeah i've checked the plugs thoroughly, and so did my mechanic. There were some loose ones, but i think they have all been found and the problem still happens.

I had my powersteering pump replaced recently and I still notice my steering goes really heavy whenever the revs are right down. I suspect the alternator is packing it in. I intend to measure the voltage as soon as my car is running again, however I was wondering how hard these things are to install and what choices in alternator there are for an R32 RB26dett? Any help would be appreciated . damn R32s.. !

Live and learn, we all start somewhere . There will always be people who are genuinely interested in cars just like there will always be people who like cars but don't care that much. Some might have a very different background and have more catching up to do (heck i'm trained in biology and maths, cars are a whole new world ). At the end of the day you can choose to help people or not, sometimes all that someone has to go on, is his mates gemi and they simply don't know anything else that's fast. Supporting mods are the real challenges to building nice cars I think (and knowing which are the best choices) and that is the sort of information I come here for. Thus I find myself asking some stupid questions but at least each time I do I learn, and I make a point of helping people who ask similar questions (instead of posting search :|).

Damn I just bought an 044 and intend on installing it over this weekend. Any words of advice on things to watch out for before hand? .

Speaking of seals, how hard are the door window seals to replace, I get the same steaming up problem when parked out in the rain.

I ran some injector cleaner through a few weeks ago too, is this the same stuff as fuel system cleaner? No idea on cat, been in there since I got my car so yeah :|, any easy way to check?

Ahh sweet yeah it was only really when it's warming up that I get white smoke, and black goo (which looks like pure carbon). After it's warmed up I get black clouds when accelerating. Thanks for that guys.

Umm I was wondering if this is a correct assumption or if it is something more sinister. Sorry I forgot to put a question mark and make it so confusing.

My car is running really rich, however when I fire it up sometimes it spits out a lot of black shite. I assume this is just carbon deposits that built up in the cat. When I reved it before it was totally warm, it gave a slight puff of snow white smoke. My fuel pump is dieing and I intend on putting a new one in on the weekend and getting it retuned shortly after.

Faaaaaar... that is exactly what I want to do to my skyline, you got anymore info on that car? Mine is just a GTS-4 with RB26dett so yeah, narrow body. Parked it next to a GTR last night at the MCCR cruise and decided I need those panels . My car: ps. i have been trying to find some info on "stock" 4 door GTRs, and as far as I can tell autech only released an R33 one. The autech R32 I _think_ is a 2 door with RB26de (not turbo) and 4 doorish tail lights.

Hey guys, I have a 4 door GTS-4 with RB26dett engine swap. I am really interested in going the full monty and adding the GTR flared panels to make it look the part (currently it's a sleeper ). I have been trying to find information about panel swaps for GTS's, anyone tell me if it's easy? Do GTR front panels fit straight on? Does the front door need to be modified? Is there anyway to get the rear panels to GTR? Forgive my ignorance, i'm a newbie .

I drive a privately imported twin turbo awd 89 skyline, paid 16,000 all up including 1,200 for insurance. I'm 23. Last dyno was 217.5 at all wheels. Bang for buck?
