  1. Interested in the brake booster, pickup.
  2. Just going on the pictures, you can quite clearly see that the turbine side (exhaust wheel) is much larger and looks to be steel in the after shot. Very confident that if those pictures are of the same turbo and it is on your car, you have high flow job.
  3. Sounds like the lock-up to me. Same thing with my 32 gts-t. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, overdrive, Lock-up. You'll note the lock-up only moves the revs down slightly, also once it is engaged it drives like a manual so when you load it up the revs don't immediately change. You can tell the 4th change is overdrive by turning it off, that will also stop the lock-up.
  4. Manual conversion parts all of them .
  5. Ah that's exactly what I was worried about N-DAWG. Making the same power as DETs with 30% less boost + E85 surely means I want something with a big exhaust housing. I was looking at the TR43 or whichever they are called and then I started drooling over GTX3071r's, then I decided it was all too difficult and started looking for RB25 turbos, now i'm back to square one .
  6. manual? got pedals? auto? part number of ECU? Also after metal brackets that hold stereo in.
  7. Do you still have the brackets that attach the stereo in the centre console?
  8. The little metal brackets in the DIN cluster that the headunit bolt onto? And while I think of it brake and clutch pedals?
  9. Erm i'm guessing NZ cheap banger R33 GTS25 or similar. Most people go from 20 -> 25 so you just need to follow the process in reverse. All you really need to do is make sure the right plugs are on the loom to match your ECU (which you will need to remap somehow, either R32 + Nisstune, or something else like PowerFC). The engines are basically the same otherwise.
  10. heading down now, all this talk has motivated me . Say hi to an ugly guy with a beard walking with a very short chick .
  11. WAAAANZI! Spotted you the other day and yelled but I don't think you heard me . Definitely time to hit the steps again, sau day sounds good.. but BEWARE the evil spike trap of death on the way out that scrapes anything less than a 4wd .
  12. Started building an R32 gts-t with a blown RB20 with an R34 RB25de. Going to +t it by moving all the parts over from the dead RB20det. What turbo recommendations would you guys suggest? Want a reliable power figure so was thinking around the 250rwkw mark with the possibility of using E85. I also want to minimise mucking around too much with the exhaust etc (rather stay 6 bolt if possible). I'm guessing this lands me in rebuilt R34 turbo territory? ps. Would be nice if the the dyno thread has more charts than chats .
  13. I'd still be thinking boost leak, I had this issue with an auto as you said. Turned out it was a combination of a dieing AFM having a dry solder joint and a slight boost leak on the added t for a boost gauge.
  14. I would like to see more of this happening but i'm way too lazy to do it myself. +1
  15. This photo is clearly a PUSH arrangement R32 came with Push first then late model with Pull.
  16. I reckon go for it but make sure you write up a really nice DIY guide at the end so others can follow in your footsteps .
  17. Google can answer questions like these. http://www.forums.secretdrift.com.au/index.php?showtopic=37174&mode=threaded&pid=525021
  18. I was thinking of just getting lines made up tbh. So the auto crossmember does mount up with a 25 gearbox? that would be nice! The gearbox came with crossmember too so I have a 33 gts-t one. I think I have an S13 auto CA one floating around too.
  19. gts-t + RB25 gearbox (Which is the same length as gtr gearbox) surely should equal gts4 + gts4 gearbox (which is the same length as gtr gearbox) therefore the tailshaft from a gts4 should be the same length as a gts-t + rb25 gearbox? Otherwise I shouldn't need to get a whole tailshaft made up, just shorten a 2-door tailshaft to suit?
  20. lol I didn't realise you were back on this car you've been working on this since I got my first skyline . So good to see it up and running again.
