  1. Kinda made a mistake and I don’t know what to do or what it’s for. Nissan skyline Infiniti v35 2007 coupe 3.5l i was adjusting the projector bulb angle with the prongs, noticed a red wire going into a metal screw fitment, right above the prongs / top middle of the globe unit, right hand side. im pretty good with rewiring etc. however I pulled the red wire (which I assumed was meant to be black acting as ground? Not sure but it worked before until I pulled it out. Wasn’t connected to anything besides the ballast and above the prongs where that screw goes into. The wiring is stuck through the metal cylinder hole, I’ve tried to wrap the red copper wiring around the screw, touching the top heads of the old wire stuck inside, electrical taped it and screwed it back in; but still the lights don’t work. in addition, my day time lights / the bottom one, doesn’t work either; on both sides. Likewise with the top bulb on the other side. The Parker wedge bulbs work; I’ve replaced all fuses except for the R1 R2 R3 relay; no repeated clicking or anything, sounds normal. I’m wondering if you guys have any idea how to fix this? Should I cut off any spliced wiring that I’ve got on the other bulbs that aren’t turning on (just hanging copper really) I tried again using the black cable instead but still no avail. So drivers and high beams / fog all don’t work ever since I ripped out that red wire above he prongs that is held in by a screw. It’s also in 3 pieces (golden seating for the prong? The prong, the screw, and the original metal wiring clamp that the screw goes in; god knows what order. any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Especially if it’s even just “wrap your copper cables in electrical wire” or should I clamp up connectors on them so they don’t just hang around? Do I even need that red wire? Seems to have shorted something out but again I replaced the fuses on both the battery one and behind the battery. Couple were blown but all is fixed now. just can’t get my driving lights working, except for the wedge Parker’s. Indicators work too. Thanks in advance!
