  1. Haha! That's fu(ken cool!
  2. Hahaha, Ash for Pres!
  3. Wet accident happen but the main thing is to learn from it if your going to spend the money. I've no doubt you feel the $$ pain anyhoo though. Do-luck is pretty ace
  4. Let me know how you get on Daz, I've been lusting after a bonnet for ages!
  5. Yeah that woudl suck, I mean the problem with these rules is that they don't take all situations and models into account, they just blanket rule them. I guess it's hard for them though.
  6. Well said.
  7. What I'm more concerned about is the power band on a turbo car, It's a hell of a lot easier to spin the wheels and loose traction.
  8. Geez have a teary, thats life. Deal with it guys. Didn't you ever hear the saying at school "A bad apple spoils the whole bunch". I don't know HOW many times it's been said but.......ANY car can go fast yes but how much easier is it to loose controll in a high power car around corners, in the wet etc etc. If you guys don't agree with that then you are only fooling yourselves. You guys bang on like it's the end of your life. So you can't drive a Skyline on your P's, yeah it sucks but most people dont! Being able to drive a high power car on P's is not a right it's a privilege and unfortunately for too long it's been abused. Maybe not by you or the people reading this but the do these things for a reason. Obviously the genral P plate population can not be trusted.
  9. Is it a kit or a custom job? Did I see you at Knox last night by any chance?
  10. That might be true but I don't see the relevance, so have VT > commodores. Mine was a VB Sports cars might be cheaper but that doesn't mean that P platers have wizened up. Anyway this subject has been done to death so I'm not going to bang on.
  11. Yeah I could drive past on the way home from work, not too far from me. You guys have me wondering what they are like, fark an hour + wait though!
  12. I think these laws are a bloody fantastic idea. There is PLENTY of time to drive a high power car. Buy a commodore like every other kid on P's and learn to drive, have a ding, learn from it then buy a real car. Thats what 99% of us here did. My 2c
  13. Is it just the drive through that has the killer wait or the counter too?
  14. Hmmmmm I live right near there
  15. Hi Blah Blah, welcome to SAU Nice to see another 34 with a Nige tune. So......ahhhh...do you.....like stuff
  16. Yes, make sure you the idler bearings, just as important as the belt. I helped a friend do a service the other week. Pretty big job as far as time go's. From memory was around $600 in parts and that was trade! A lot of the things there are a bit wanky, we were VERY particular with this car and did everything that NEEDED to be done. We didn't have any super special tools, the harmonic balancer has marks to line everything up. -Diff oil -Gearbox oil -Engine oil -Oil filter -Fuel filter -Idler bearings -Cam belt -Spark plugs -Water and coolent -Water pump (why not while you are there) -Cam and crank seals -Cleaned air filter
  17. That's all stock. Sorry to disappoint Calsonic make a lot of parts for cars like these, guess that's why they sponsor the race cars in Japan etc, kinda like NGK etc.
  18. Don't kid yourself, doghnuts and doghnuts How about these?
  19. They are freakin donuts!!!! You guys are nuts!
  20. Did any of you guys see the worlds most unhealthy burger on the news? A cheese and bacon burger served on a fried Krispy Kreme! That's enough to make me puke I reckon!
