I'm running Nismo R-Tune coilovers in mine. The ride height and dampening adjustment are nice features but the are pretty firm. Sure the car handles well but if my car were a daily driver I think I'd go nuts. I put my stock sets aside just incase I ever wanted to remove mine. If I were to buy shocks\coilovers again I'd go for lowered Australian made gear.

Well I thought I'd give you a list of things NOT to bother with instead. 1. Don't buy an aftermarket BOV on unless you want to be Paul Walker. 2. Try to avoid a pod filter, although they sound great they are bait. 3. A bleed valve is a cheap and easy way to get boost so don't jump straight for an electronic boost controller. You can always upgrade later. 4. Don't buy a super loud exhaust, eg. Apexi Dunk Megaphopne (no really, I had one) or a Fujitsubo power getter. They are ace for the first 6 months untill you crave the peace and quiet or get defected (just ask Bass Junky). 5. Make sure you research your intercooler. Don't just buy any old core then find you have to hack half the front bar reo and chassis rails to fit it. 6. Turbo timer = Waste of money unless you live at the top of Mt. Bulla. I think that's about it. The rest has been said PS - S2, cool car! I miss mine

Hi, You will need a fire ex with a MEATAL bracket, not plastic. You can pick them up at Autobarn or K-Mart prety cheap. A bonnet restraint is easy, a bit of plastic coated metal rope, a couple of clips to loop the ends and 2xD shackles to fasten them, thats is what I used. Some people also use trailer tie downs, the seatbelt type material and just tie it down through the latch. The blue triangle can be electrical tape or you can buy them from Meridian motorsport. I have a heap at home if you'll be at the next SAU Meeting. There is always plenty of people who will be willing to give you a hand on the day if you neeed.

Taso - So when YOU get into a fight you are saying that you're mates jump in and outnumber the guy there is a problem with? If you're in a one on one fight then leave it that way. It's nice to have mate who will watch your back if things get out of controll but untill then they SHOULD stay on the side lines and the person who is fighting look after themselves. Lets get one thing straight, I'm 100% not a fighter but I think a person should be able to look after themselves without 5 mates jumping in. As far as being a minority, this is a bit of a generalization but there is nothing worse that seeing a group of wogs hanging out together in a group, co(ky as all sh|t just looking to stir. They give all of them a bad name but it's such a common sight. I don't know why that is but you see it all the time, large groups grabbing girls against their will, no respect at all. When learning to drive they teach you to gear down, not to hold the clutch in and just use the brakes. Not to sure why it is. I tend to gear down and brake at the same time, the more you drive the easier it is. I think it's always better to be in gear just incase you even need to take off again. With the leak, degrease the whole engine bay, wash it down being carefull of elecronics and trace the leak. Small thing left unchecked can turn into big probems.

Daz, just coz you now own an RX7 doesn't give you the right to speak sh|t I've NEVER done a lap and I'll bet at least 65% havn't! BTW - Whats this I hear about me loosing my licence, I wasn't aware. Is there something I should know??

I don't agree with you there, the sh|t tends to leave inflamed sore spots on the skin when sprayed at close proximity and can be very painfull, even worse when the person being sprayed is already in the divy and the police decide it might be fun to loosen a can inside the van Depends on how sensative the skin is though I guess. Every been sprayed in the eyes?

Just one thing to be aware of although most people don't mind is Bride seats do not meet ADR specs Ace seats though and super easy to fit with the Bride seat rails.

Both ECU's are good, I think you'll be happy either way. PFC is ace though as you simply remove the old ECU and Plug in the new. Very commonly used too. Lots of tuners and easy to remove if you ever need, about 5 mins work.

Don't bother trying to get out of it, just pay it and learn. I've been done recently and it cost me a hell of a lot more than that. Nothing you can do, you speed and you take the chance of being pinged. Simple as that.

Eastern Freeway = bad place to speed. Lots of cops towards the end past Tram Rd etc. But speeding is bad full stop huh
