I think it's pretty basic. Jap car engines are designed and stress tested using standard high grade jap fuels. If you start mixing your fuel then I say that there is the possibility of problems. It's proven this fuel burns at different temps for starters and IMO thats a good reason to stay clear of it untill it's proven....

There is a bit of talk about this around but for those of you who don't leav the Vic section Shell have release a 100 RON fuel, the first in Aus. Only issue here is they have added 5% Ethanol. I'm not sure what issues if any this can cause for us skyline drivers but I'd be interested to hear what people have to say Also keen to know price of it compared to say standard unleaded... Cut from Shells website - "Shell Optimax Extreme is a new super-high octane fuel with a minimum octane rating of 100, the highest currently available at any Australian service station. No, not Nismo......it's a common mistake. It's a factory option "Altia" kit. Just a note, Bass and my little squirt on the roads were all UNDER the speed limit. Cheers.

Yeah found the BP on Canterbury rd in Bayswaer has it, got the last tanker for 4 weeks on Friday. They said all the BP owned stores get priority. It'll run out soon enough though...
