It's SAU Vic Social Meeting time. That's right, Beer, Food, Beer, Cars, Beer and laughs! We have a special guest speaker this month, Alistair Ward the Key Account Manager from Intellimatics. Intellimatics are the producers of in-car GPS telemetry used for security/navigation/tracking. They make the Holden Assist product and the Toyota and Mitsubish Evo IX OEM systems. The CarCom product can be retro-fitted to any vehicle. These social meetings are divided into two parts, the first if your hungry is a meal from the bistro (GO CHICKEN KEIV!!) and a chance to have a chat with other members then the second is a short informal meeting. We use these meetings to give quick rundowns on past events with video's, pictures and stories etc, to address pressing matters, tell members what's happening behind the scenes and for discussion on upcoming events. It's all pretty relaxed and fun. This is a great opportunity for those of you who don't know too many members to come down and mix as new faces are always welcomed. Time - 8:00pm (Dinner from 7:00ish) Date - Tuesday 20th Sept 2005 Location - Bell's Hotel, 157 Moray St, South Melbourne (Cnr Moray St & Coventry St Melways Ref - 57, G1) Note - This Pub is family friendly with an area set aside for us. There is plenty of seating (tables and chairs) and meals for all. Who is welcome - Everyone!

Well well well. I don't know where to start, the broken rail crossing I could hear dinging away at 3am as I sat in the loo, the "Benalia" signs which once read "Benalla", or possibly even Ash's local bogan spinster asking "Av ue's eva ad a Mother\Daughter threesome". I still don't understand how we havn't been banned from most of rural victoria For those who don't know we were having a bit of a shouting match with some locals from the second story of our pub\accomodation when the bogan spinster decided to start flashing her privates, this of course was enough to get the main trouble starters downstairs, Ash, Brisy and myself. I don't know what was funnier, her persistance with ash, her foul mouth and stories or watching Matt dress up as Ash and try to convince them he was Ash so she'd shut the hell up! Over all a VERY fun weekend and looking foward to the next, for those who havn't come along yet, even if you are not on the track you should make the effort, it's well worth it!
