Thats the organisers issue and they will have to deal with it accordingly, if a non member event falls on the same day then SAU Vic members have a choice.

Guys don't be too hard on him, he raised a reasonable point, he didn't say the whole things was bad, just that some members living far away do not receive the full benifits. This is a fair point but the fact is meetings a formal thing, we have them because re are required to. These business side of things, sure it's a great chance to attend and meet memebrs and have a good feed but if you miss them that doesn't mean your not getting your money's worth....

Good point. As far as I am awear (I may be wrong) the event calender is open to view for all. This means both members and non members can have a quick look and plan around SAU Vic events I will double check this for you guys now.

Really good day! I got a little burnt, and no I havn't learnt I was in the shade 95% of the day so I'm thinking the suns getting sneaky, hehe. Pete, awesome job with the organisation, can't belive how much work it all was! Was awesome to see all the SAU team out there willing to lend a hand for a good cause and nice to see so much support. I took around 40 or so pics so will pop them in tommorrow to be developed, stupid film SLR's

Only ones I've seen are the little plastic dots that stop them from spreading. Otherwise I think places like O'brians do repairs, they use a suction device and some resin or sumthign. Give them a call

Are you finding the bonnet doesn't sit straight eg. lower one side than the other or is it really stuffed?

ECR 33 - Hi, it's pretty basic really. There is a lot of planning and time that go's into these events. You've probably noticed that there are not a lot of cruises in the open Vic section these days, and you might of seen this thread from a couple of weeks ago. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=63303 Now the right idea was there but have a look through the thread and how many people are willing to put some time and effort into the organisation of things? Not many huh! Fact is there are litteraly 100's of emails between the committee planning events etc and this takes a hell of a lot of time a good example was ther show and shine on the weekend. Anyway the bottom line is the open formus are still here, you can still run your own great ocean road cruise like the previous years it's just you or one of the open forum memebrs will have to plan it just like we did in the old days......

Yes thats right, you MUST have the pattern displayed. Doesn't matter if it's a sticker or a pattern on the knob but it must be present.

Yeah that photo of you with that body roll is the last one before the straight, a lot of you had a fair bit of speed before that. I'm still getting used to that camera so some shots and not so crisp but that'll come Enjoy!
