  1. Ok, look the real reason is there is a world wide chicken shortage and due to the high demand for chicken snitz's they have had to turn patrons away because lets face it, what else is there??? And no....Risotto just doesn't cut it
  2. I've just been informed the green got the arse
  3. No I didn't edit my post you dag.... The reason is the place has been sold to developers and they are going to knock it down. The developers offered to lease it on a month by month agreement but the owner of the hotel didn't want to stuff round the patrons, car clubs and workers so it's being closed. As for new locations there are a few being considered. The WRX club hold meetings at the Village Green which is right on the South Eastern Freeway and there is also the Tower Hotel down the road from the Whitehorse. Main thing is they need to be able to set aside a meeting area and must have large safe parking etc.
  4. Hi all, Its time for our General Meeting and sadly this will be out last at the Whitehorse as it is being knocked down to make way for apartments, thats right! No more SNITZ!!! OMG! Now, why would I repost my last meeting post? I'm getting lazy thats why! You guys know the drill though.... It's SAU Vic General Meeting time. Thats right, Beer, Schnitzel, Cars and laughs! This is a great opportunity for those of you who don't know too many members to come down and mix. This meeting will cover the usuall things, info on past events, pressing maters, SAU Merchandise will be available etc. These meeting are used for the members and committee to talk about whats happening behind the scenes, to discus upcoming events and provide an excellent opportunity for you the SAU Vic members to discus your own issues and ideas. Don't forget this is YOUR club and what happens is in YOUR hands Time - 8:00pm (Dinner from 7:00ish) Date - Tuesday 15th of February 2005 Location - Whitehorse Inn, 5 Burwood Rd, Hawthorn (Cnr Burwood & Barton St Melways Ref - 45, A10) Note - We meet in the Bistro area - this area is family friendly and set aside for us. There is plenty of seating (tables and chairs) for all. Who is welcome - Everyone!

  6. Yeah I can source them for you Give me a call mate.
  7. Hey guys, I took 2 rolls of film so will get them done this week. Roy - I did notice you crossed up round thats last S bend when I was round there so we'll see if I got any shots, also got a few over the hill at the back etc. Hope you all had fun!
  8. Well put it this way, I'd do some reasearch first before the money is spent.
  9. I ment no you cant have oiled ones full stop, should of been more specific
  10. Pull the old out, plug the new in. All of 5 mins work As far as aftermarket ECU's in auto's they can be a real pain in the arse, Danny (Autotrust) was looking at one for a long time but was very painfull die to the auto so he decided against.
  11. Oh one more thing, that pop can have to do with turbulence in the pipe also I think, i get it on gear changes but unless you getting massive explosions I don't think it's an issue. It's kind like shooting a cap gun in a pipe.
  12. You do not need to pump other gas into the pipe to create a flame, I've seen kits that work on a coil pack and a spark plug. They simply spark in the exhaust tip and bang, you have flame. Don't forget boys and girls, those gassesfumes are flamable! http://www.flamethrowers.com.au Rice anyone? Ooooh yar, 2F2F....
  13. In fact no, they do not, they are a no go full stop. [/size] (can't seem to post a pic for some reason so you'll have to click, it's a scan of an EPA letter from Vic) Thanks to SKY031 for that
  14. Hi, have played on the dyno with a Pod and an Air box and really, there is no noticeable power gains to be had. A perfect example is when I had my 34 retuned, came back with an extra 10kw at the wheels but I swear if I didn't see a dyno sheet I wouldn't of known, 10 rw kw isn't really all that much and when you look at the gain to be had using a pod (if any) it's really not worth it unless you like the look/sound. Just get a K&N or BMC panel filter, work a treat and cops don't care.
  15. Racepace and Genisis, both of these workshops have good reviews by users. Racepace is well know to be the goods, I don't personaly know of Genisis but Bass Junkie (Pete) got hi car done there, came out well. I have also had to pay to have work done again that was not done right the first time so be carefull huh!
  16. www.customcarbon.com.au Good luck
  17. Perhaps speak to Custom carbon?
  18. If you want the users to see what your point is I'll post this PM here.
  19. QUOTE=SLYWPN]Mate I organise events for r31 skyline club all the time so dont go telling me how hard it is. The reason I chose to respond in the thread was so that everyone could see what your answer would be. You dont get it at all, a few months ago anyone could come here and meet and cruise together, but now because you have made it a proper club which the only benefit i can see is having CAMS you have taken away the opportunity for people like me to continue to do what I have done for years which is just cruise and meet new people, but no, now you want me to pay for that priviledge. Im not interested in CAMS so this really sucks for me as I can no longer attend a cruise like I have done in the past. Why dont you think about that! Wow, how hard was that? You could of saved the pages of drool and just posted that and I would of given you this answer, instead you decide to play hero. OK now lets get this straight right. There is NOTHING stopping ANYONE from planning cruises. If Forum users wish to cruise then they can crusie 24 hours, 7 days a week. SAU Vic has NEVER tried to stop that, in fact we promote it. Your right, there used to be a lot of cruises but ask yourself ths, who planned them? Who ran them and why don't they do it now?? Don't even start of the R31 club, you plan cruises? Well then what stopping you from doing that here? I invite you to come to a committee meeting, I honestly do. You have NO IDEA how much more work is involved when money is included in a club so it's simply not fair to compare the two clubs. But regardless as a forum user (not a committee member as i am entitled to my own opinion) I think your a fu(king a&sehole for the way you have gone about this and I want you to know that
