Yeah I know what you mean about cyclists taking up a lane. I have some friends who are cyclists and I brought this up with them, the explanation was they do it so cars HAVE to go around, not cut close to them and sneak past. They say that a lot of cars cut too close and some clip them so they take up the whole lane instead. It STILL pisses me off but I think the real fix it dedicated bike lanes and paths, just get them off the road. They should NOT mix with cars.

Spend more money on the roads, educate pedestrians/cyclists and make it harder to get and keep your licence - problem solved.
