  1. ROFL, Yeah I think you might be onto something there. Let me know next time and I'll give you a hand
  2. Nah you guys are all thinking of the wrong type. Age is correct, the JDM Sapporo is in a WHITE can with a black logo, NOT the silver funny looking Canadian brewed cans. I must say they Canadian ones are nice though
  3. Was looking at some car web sites on the weekend and saw the new Evo X. Though this is a Skyline forum I thought with all Evo fan boys here that someone might have posted a thread. In case you haven't seen it yet I've posted some pics below. I don't know if it's just me but I'm seeing a lot of R34 GTR design elements here. Same type of nose and bonnet and pumped out square rear guards. What do you guys think? I'm thinking I could drive one of these if it looks hot in the flesh, I don't think pictures do it justice much like the R34's. http://www.leftlanenews.com/mitsubishi-lan...volution-x.html
  4. Sapporo Larger? White Can, Black logo? Age, get yourself down to "Tokyo Deli" - 418 Glenhuntly Road, Elsternwick and pick yourself up a slab of "rejiyo". It's malty as and really boody good, I know you'd like it
  5. They'd just use thinners or some type of solvent. Perhaps acetone.
  6. PS - If you really want to get serious get yourself some Rochfort Trappist 11.3% though they claim 12%. Hey how can you go wrong, it's brewed by Trappist Monks!
  7. Well Brisby I'm glad you asked... Elephant pours well with a nice large head that dissipates quickly, but leaves decent lace on the glass. It has a very crisp, very pale yellow that is true to any premium lager. Smell is more European than malt liquor, which should make sense as this is inherently a European lager. It has a grainy taste and a slight alcohol bite, hard to tell this has considerably more alcohol than other Euro lagers, but on par with most "high gravity" malt liquors with regards to density. It is taste where this beer departs from the nomenclature of "malt liquor" and into the Euro Strong Lager category. Most malt liquors are very sweet, malty, and quite round. This beer really hits home with its similarity with traditional Euro lagers. Granted, there is MUCH more malt to this beer, but it is complemented with a nice citrus twinge of hops to balance it out. Mouthfeel is also good, more along with a malt liquor's fullness, but drinkability is much better when thinking about the taste and smell. This is one beer that will get you drunk, but won't leave you with as bad a taste in your mouth as with a crappy malt liquor. I'm sure you know that thogh Bris
  8. What's your budget? Why not look at a PFC?

    3 Steps Foward

AnFz - You don't drive along the Western port highway in the mornings city bound in the mornings do you? I keep seeing a Bayside Blue R34 there! Thought it might be you!
  16. Yeah I just called and I spoke to one of the guys there, he was a top guy and even offered me a cover note. I was really impressed. I've rung them in previous years and not gotten the best reception but they were VERY warm this time. How this for gold too, the premium was MORE expensive with Just cars! I just checked my renewal last night. Shannon's is $50 cheaper, now I want to call Just Cars and ask them to drop it and when they so no I'll tell them to blow it out their asses
  17. Hahahaha, yeah yeah fair call. Anyhoo how can I argue with a username like that.....mmmmm beeeeer. To right Bris, bring on the drink fest. Perhaps you're my interstate doppelganger!?
  18. I'm pretty sure I can ban Roy from the Vic section somehow, now where IS that button
  19. Gold....all gold You might drive fast but I'll show you how to drink
  20. Yep some good advice there, more info at - http://www.dotars.gov.au/roads/motor/sevs/index.aspx and http://raws.dotars.gov.au/
  21. I think you'll find that regardless of HOW a car is bought in to the county it is still required to be complied to Australian Design Rules. There should be a compliance plate on all cars. There was a hell of a lot of bad stuff going on before the introduction of the RAWS/SEVS scheme. It was introduced to stamp out a lot of the corruption and back yard scammers and to monitor the workshops who were eligible to comply these vehicles. I can tell you this for a fact as my previous R33 was brought in and was done under dodgy compliance. The car was a repairable write off and I bought the wreck back an sold it. The new owner bought the car as was and fixed it, when he went to register it they told him that the car was not complied (I was VERY clear when selling the wreck, he didn't seem to care). If you try to register a car with no compliance plate you're not going to have a hope in hell that's the bottom line as far as I'm aware though I stand to be corrected
  22. Well about bloody time, I'm getting decent insurance rates. Just signed up with Shannons. 31k agreed value, choice of repaier, $500 excess all for just $1150. That's cheaper that what the bastards at Just Cars offered me. So glad to be rid of them w00t!!
  23. There is a fair chance I'll be headed up this year What's the general cost of this weekend guys? How much did you spend on fuel/accom/piss?
  24. Hey mate, congrats huh Have fun!
