most of j'racings kits are replica kits not officals, just because replicas are heaps cheaper to get hold of. but they are still great kits.

Opinion On Wheels For Going Over The Pits
Viper_r32 replied to yaf28f's topic in Australian Capital Territory
one other interesting thing is that all 4 wheels must be the same width e.g. 17x7 front and back or you have to get an engineers certificate like i did to run larger wheels on the rear e.g. 17x7 front 17x8 rear, note this is only if the car was originally sold with this setup it dose not apply to allot of newer cars -
how much are flexi lines worth?
-
yeap thats mine, unfortunately integra don't have space to store cars over night. but the car will be ready tomorrow any way. but your right i never leave my poor baby any ware alone (crying)
-
well i was on the way home last week and all of a sudden i lost boost and the turbo made the most horrible screaming screeching sound I've ever heard . lucky i was a few streets away from integra so i drove in and got anthany to have a look at it. they took of the turbo and sent it back to GCG who claim that it spun a bearing due to oil contamination. OIL CONTAMINATION! in my car i don't think so! the turbo has only been on the car for 10,000ks and when the turbo was bolted up it had a fresh oil change with motul full synthetic and since then I've changed the oil twice. they said it could have been coursed by rust in the oil lines. Anthony is looking into that now but i doubt it, there ain't no rust on my baby. so as you can probably tell by my tone I'm piiiissssseeeeddd! GCG said the will give me a special consideration and only charge me parts which is about $650 so i guess thats ok but i still have to pay integra automotive labor of pulling the turbo on and off so I'm looking around $1300, my prob is i still owe my dad $600 from when i had the turbo first put on. man why can you love and hate your car at the same time. Venessa (name of my car) why do you keep doing things like this to me. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

i may be able help out on this one, but the thing is that all my air con pipes have been ripped out and need to be put back in. but as far as i know my wireing is still ok as the compresser is still bolted on and all, and the climate controll box works ok. but the pipes are sitting in my boot and need to be attached.

Friday Night At Grevillea Park
Viper_r32 replied to Viper_r32's topic in Australian Capital Territory
I recon the museum car park is going to be packed full of cars before 9pm. Maybe we should all meet at the museum like we normally do but just get there early like 7:30 8pm. Because we are not going to be the only ones showing up early -
The main problem I see with these cameras is that there going to slow down the highways. I hate it wen people see a speed camera and then slow right down. If your dead on the speed limit or even over it by just a few k’s they cant book you! And most canberrn’s drive to slow as it is. Like why don’t people understand yet that when you merge in to a 100kph lane you merge in at 100kph, not 60, 70 or 80 then accelerate slowly to 100.

inquieing about the wing, is it plastic or fiberglass, i wanted to get Jerry at J racing to modify mine but he can't cause its plastic. i need a fiberglass one
-
that was the main reason i chose to go with a high flow. so if people look under the hood it all looks stock. no probs with rego inspection, police or anything else

Apexi AVC-R Limited Edition. I originaly purchesed the standered one form Jerry at J Racing. but then Jerry went to fit it, and it turned out to be faulty. So Jerry phoned up Apexi to ask for a replacement, but they dident have any of the standered ones in stock. they said they had a limited ed virsion but it was like $180 more. Jerry told them that that wasent aceptable as it was a faulty bran new item, and he needed a replacement straight away. so they gave me the Limited ED version for the same price and sent it over night. it was fited the folowing morning.

Absolutely, Nick suggested I take it easy in the beginning to get used to the power. But honestly it didn’t take that long before I was leaving the throttle open on the straightaways. Although I have to admit I was changing gear a 5000rpm as it’s still a little scary to take up to 6000 but a lot of fun.

Honestly I considered it, but I’ve always been the kind of person who believes in “you get what you pay for”. I have always preferred to pay more money for something that I know 100% will do the job I want it to. But by no means dose that mean that one of Slides high flows would not have been sufficient, but as a personal preference I preferred to go Ball bearing instead of Bush and have it done company that has a really good reputation. As the turbo itself only cost $1900 to be high flowed the rest was all Integra’s labor.
-
It was $3000 to get the turbo high flowed including the labour $220 for Fuel Pump (can’t remember how much for labour) $850 for the boost controller including fitting $350 for re-chipping the ECU and tuning So allot! But worth every cent.
-
Hey guys, just though I’d post up the results of my new tune, just got the turbo high flowed and a boost controller fitted. All the tuning was done by CEF11E on the Autotech Dyno. Stock engine internals, stock cat, stock dump, stock injectors, GCG High flow RB20 turbo, bigger fuel Pump and 16psi I'm so happy with the result, and it’s so fun to drive. Puts a nice big grin on my face every time I hit full boost . A very big thanks to Nick for tuning the ECU, Great job man! Big thanks to Autotech, Integra Automotive, GCG and J Racing

My Project For The Last Year- New Pic On The Second Page
Viper_r32 replied to Style32's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Just saw the car today in the J racing show room. Honestly the pics just do not do the car justices. It’s freaking awesome and looks so much better in real life. Jerry said it took almost 3 to 4 months of straight labour to finish. Man I would hate to count the Hours Spent. But a seriously sweet looking ride, congrats on an amazingly well done job. Can’t wait to see it crusen the streets. Rock And Ride!!!!!! -
bigst prob is when you put in a clame, you dont get all your money back. ebay takes a percentage as a fee. last time they took about $120 from a $600 transaction. thats why now i only ever purchess with paypal, because pay pal will refund more money than ebay. and with paypal your transactions are insured
