  1. I wanna get me one of these Aristo puppies as well. Very p.i.m.p!
  2. Haak Automotive in Wetherill Park.
  3. I was told that 4-4.7MM diameter hose is best or it doesn't really matter? It could possibly be spiking, I wonder how much it'd spike in 2nd gear if I set it to 10psi in 4th, lol. My boost source is from the intercooler -> throttle body pipe.
  4. Does it matter what size of vacuum line we run to the boost controller? Also when setting boost, what gear should we be adjusting it too? I wanted to set my car to 10psi. I did that in 2nd gear and it reaches it fine but it only manages 7-8psi in 4th gear?
  5. Spotted what appeared to be a black r32 GTR chopping a Holden ute on the Hume Highway (Chullora) tonight at around 9pm.
  6. Yea dude, I've got one. I'm in Chester Hill though.
  7. Auburn maccas maoiteee!
  8. There's the hole that's mentioned. Btw, any chance of just purchasing a ball and spring? I had my boost controller in and it banged itself against the intercooler piping till the nut came loose and everything fell out. Hello unlimited boost
  9. Yea, it's manual. Have to pop up the bonnet to change the boost.
  10. I'm having issues with trying to set my boost. I'm trying to set it to 10psi but it either only hits 8-9 psi, so I slightly adjust it for more boost then it starts hitting 14-15psi. Can't seem to get it in between? Could the diamater of the vacuum hose connecting to the boost controller be causing this?
  11. Hey guys, Recently I opened up my controller and the ball and spring fell out. I'm just wondering which way does the spring go? One side comes to a flat finish while the other side of the spring is open (if you get what I mean).
  12. I have the exact same symptons you are describing with my U13 SR20DET in my Pulsar. It's on and off at times but most off than on. It pops a hell lot when cruising off throttle. Boost is very laggy and when driving slow it likes to jerk on and off. It also feels very sensitive and rough to drive. I have a feeling my idle air control valve is stuffed and my timing is out or there's a leak.
  13. Haak automotive - Wetherhill Park Powertune - Villawood
  14. What mods have you got? My brother has a 350z with a hi-tech exhaust. He got 161.8rwkw. It's zippy and can be reasonably fast if launched well. It'd probably be on par with reasonably stock performance cars (i.e wrx, gts-ts, g-tts, 200sx etc). Comes down to the driver's abilities. In the end, all you have to do is add a bit of boost and it's over so it's not really fair to compare n/a vs turbo, lol.
  15. I've got a few more pics but I think I left before you guys came.
  16. Good turn out. I got 161.8 fwkw in my Pulsar with about 11-12psi B)
  17. How does a dead cat cause popping? My car backfires and pops a lot as well. I heard my exhaust making weird noises as well.
  18. Saw a R33 GTR at F&E in Smithfield on Tuesday. WAR-33R.
  19. LOL, look at all the people making sure they type with correct spelling and grammar in the this thread.
  20. heh, i saw a dude jump into a car with it's key still in and drive off a while ago. owner just ran out of the petrol station chasing it but couldnt do much.

  22. If only you had posted earlier. We just recently had a APS demo day for the twin-turbo kit at Autotech in Granville. There was plenty of information. I believe a 350z with a pod filter made the same power as it did with the stock airbox. Only difference was that the pod filter stuffed up the cars air/fuel ratio. So you're probably better off keeping the stock box and throwing a K&N panel in there like my brother has. So far, the easier and more common exhausts 350z owners have been getting are the APS exhaust and the Hi-Tech exhaust. They perform about the same as each other, give or take a few kws. Though if you get the APS exhaust system, if you decide to go and get an APS twin turbo kit down the track it bolts straight up. Here is a sample of my brothers car with the Hi-Tech exhaust fitted. Performance wise, save up whatever money you plan to spend on the minor modifications for the twin turbo kit
