sorry i forgot to add there was no shaft play when i installed it a month ago and i havnt gone crazy with boost mayb 15psi and the turbo still pulls fine once it spools up

thanks for the help by the way as ur the only one replying no this is actually a bushces type turbo out of a vl turbo that has been hiflowed and new core and steel wheels i braught it second hand but checked it all out with the place the work got done and all is in order there just dunno why this happens now?? well i took the heat sheild off and it is clearly coming from the turbo 99.8% thanks if you got ne more knowledge more than welcome

nah the rattle comes wen i start it and wen i turn it off at first now more often like all da time till warms up. but when it spools up no rattle it sounds all healthy so dunno????? if it were unbalanced wat would that mean for the life of turbo????? thanks for ur help

hi i recently got a hiflowed T3 on my rb20det. I baught the turbo second hand, now it goes hard and good it is alot better than standard turbo however now its making a rattling sound(thats what is worry me) but it still goes good! should i worry????? thanku

the turbo is a VL hi flowed with steel wheels front and rear dunno all da exact specs as i braught second hand and i forget easy. but yeh once u get to 4grand the power comes on hard havnt dynoed yet but its got krazy pull now! compared to the standard rb20 turbo i had on there and i am still only running 12psi for now!!! but the problem is the whole 4grand thing lanching is a bitch!! top end is good as bottom end well u can decide 4 urself i think!!!! no good

i got a VL turbo hiflowed put on my RB20det, it goes great well once it hits boost at 4000 rpm is there any way to decrese that 4000 to mayb 3500 with out blowing the budget???? thanks

my car not holding boost well slipping badly actually even took out boost controller and hooked up to standard wastegate wen i give it to it goes to 10psi and drops to 4-5 psi turbo is leaking oil aswell on da outside? is that the turbo gone????? next question i got an r32 turbo off my mate mine says 16V 9 his the one i get now is 16V 12 is there ne diffrence?????

first thing i did, all the hoses are okay, i even took out the boost controller and just hook up the standard 10psi wastegate

hi coming back after a long drive interstate, now my turbo wont hold boost. it is the standard r32 turbo, it used to stay on 10psi but now it goes to ten and falls back to 5psi also i think its leaking some oil the turbo as well??? is she all over? or could it just b the wastegate actuator, i checked for splits in my FMIC joiners and there r none any ideas

so the r32 powerfc is $1500?????? are you sure that correct?? i think auto bahn is cheaper i am confussed y R32 so much more than R33???

hi, need sum help went to a another dodgey mechanic who used silicon as a gasket for the turbo oil return line and now all leaky wat is the standard gasket made out of paper or metal so i can make my own. Thankyou :Bang:
