Problem is i have a deposit on the car already cos i couldn't let it go so i am gunna have to take out fiannce and pay interest on teh friggen thing to cover my a$$ and stuff so yeah. But yeah call me on 0402 488 879 and we can organise something, as i said urgent sale... only problem is the friggen battery is now flat cos of the alarm and been sitting there for 8 weeks... so there goes the 400 buck odyssey, but i'll have that sorted asap.

Hey all, After the car was supposed to be sold, it has taken far too long to obtain the payment (8 weeks) and i am now forced to put the car back ont eh market for a re-sale. The car has stayed in the garage since the sale with not a km added. I am now very urgent to sell as it has put me in a bit of strife with a new car i have to pay for in the meantime. So it all stays the same spec as last add pasted below, but i really need to sell it now to cover my a$$ for the new car. As title says its a dec 95 model Black manual, has done 85,000km's (imported with 73.500km's!! Basically driven to and from work only, bout 35km's a day) I am the first owner in aus. I have spent a lot of money on it since i got my liscence in feb, basically all mod's except for the air filter were put on by me since then. Oil changes every 3,000km's with Penzoil Race Synthetic with Penazene addative. Mods include: -17*8" Gradu racing rims -Custom ATP T03/4 turbo -Custom AVO bar and plate front mounted intercooler with polished mandrel bent alloy piping, no welded joins (cooler polished aswell) and Hose Techniques blue silicon joins -3" dump pipe off turbo to cat into a genuine 3" Fujitsubo LegalisR exhaust -K&N M's high power air filter -HKS turbo timer -AUtometer ultra-lite pro comp gauges -Custom alloy catch can all polished with braided fittings -Razo race gear knob and Razo race pedals -Custom dash switch panel covered in pearl white vinyl. -Odyssey dry cell battery -Nismo belt pads on all belts, and Nismo hand brake pad -Pioneer head unit, front splits, 6*9's running off 600wAmp, boot wired ready for big sub set up, previously had a huge system in it, and have left all brand new cabling ready for new subs/amps. Also has false floor fitted with all panels and wheel well filled with dacron to kill dead sound and improve sound quality. Also had the timing belt and all axilery belts changed, front urethane castor rod bushes and a new o2 sensor fitted so she is absolutely puuuuuuuuuurring!!. Also now has 12 months of reg to... so can't complain at all peoples!! http://www.angelfire.com/co3/thegrub1/inde...dexskypics.html I am askin $21,000 with 12 months reg!! BARGAIN!!If interested, and can meet in Melbourne to view. I am looking to get rid of it asap, she is one of the best round, trust me!! I can organise a roady very easily for it which can be discussed, but i have already wasted a few hundred on 2 roadies to the previous supposed buyer and am not looking forward to wasting my money out of good faith a 3rd time which i guess you can understand. Thnx all, j.

Help not boosting over 10PSI. WTF!
YBSLO4 replied to WLD747's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Hey dude common problem with the turbosmart bleed valve, i had the same problem. Its different to fit on a 33 rather than a 32 or silvia which have the nipple on the compressor housing with the vaccum line running to the wastegate which u tap into, more over you have to re-route the factory controller into the new one. Basically u just have to fit the t-piece on the line going to the wastegate with the arrow pointing to the actuator, then route the rest the same as factory... this is how it should be fitted however this way still results in teh restricted boost but i have found from many people the only turbosmart valve that allows more boost is the manual single stage controller with twist knob, any of the staged controllers with a switch like i had for some reason restrict boost levels. -
Mod for mod a silvia/180 will always be quicker if driven properly. people often underestimate how good the SR20's are. They are one of the best performance 4 cylinder engines ever produced. 12 years after they started production and there is still nothing around that is close to its popularity or performance, other than the S15 which has now been discontinued anyhow. Just remember that because you might have 240rwkw and you race a 180/silvia with say 205rwkw, the silvia will win, mainly due to power to weight... yes a skyline will real in top end for sure due to the 6 cylinders and extra displacement but for street driving the silvia will be much quicker.

Well my mate has a CA with an SR20 turbo on it, FMIC, exhaust, filter and boost is uncontrolled... he has been hitting about 1.5bar boost for a while now wasn't until the other day in 3rd gear he hit 1.83 bar and sometime whilst racing a TT supra a few times he blue the head gasket but not a real big blow supriseingly it has held up damn well!! No internal damage or anything so they are a tough little beast ey.
-
If i were you i can't recomend highly enough and neither could those who have been their also is to have your turbo custom built by ATP... it aint too exspensive compared to that of say a HKS turbo or what have you and i have seen far better results in most cases dependant on what hte person wants. I had a turbo custom built by them and its awesome dude, can't recomend them high enough. The fastest RB25 gtst in aus runs a turbo built by them and so do all my mates run them. You can have everything from yours high-flowed to a custom T3-66 hybrid or what have you.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFffark... lol the degree's of timing should be ont he sticker on the bonnet, i think its about 2-3 degree's.
-
Farrrrrrk forgot lol to check the timing line up the lines ont he belt closest to the crank gear cover and the acutal cover itself.
-
Oh yeah and to adjust the timing you change the position of the crank angle sensor by loosening the three bolts on the sensor (the silver round unit on front of the exhaust side of the timing cover with a mitsubishi symbol ont he black center piece) you simply twist it as you are timing till its right then tightent it back up. I picked up heaps in readjusting mine, HUGE difference in the drive of the car!!
-
No probs dude we did mine th eother day, that black fuse box you have under the hood basically works as battery terminals and is the reason why its there. You can jump start off it, use it for whatever and so on, this is the main 'power source' under the hood from the battery, having the battery int eh boot just saves the space in th engine bay from having both of them there. You just hook up the positive and negative to that then clip the timing clip onto the white wire at the back of the rocker covers where the coil pack unit is on the black coil pack cover, then time away

rx-7's actually have one of the fastest 0-100 times for a jap RWD car... 5.9sec, not to mention they also have perfect weight balance on all four wheels making them handle lithey are on rails. They would give a GTR a very hard time indeed. Only loses on the 1/4 in sdtock trim by about a car length due to its gearing making it better for accellaration. Also wise idea not to by anything 93 or less as they had a gearbox problem and overall bugs from their release. Best was the 94 as they went to extra length to stamp out the problems and added extras to gain public interest after the problems.

Not my point dude lol Neither is the HKS supra running a 4.8ltr V8 TT... or the HKS 180sx running a RB26DET... they are built for speed... OBHAVE was built to be the fastest 'GTSt' which to me is a RB25DET powered skyline... i'm not saying your wrong but i am jus saying his is hte fastest street gtst with an RB25 in it.
-
exactly my point... i am talking fastest Rb25 street GTSt, TRY09S pulled a 10.3 odd something with RB25. OBHAVE ran a 10.23. have a look for yourselves: http:www.angelfire.com/co3/thegrub1/OBHAVE.JPG
