I'll try adn scan and post for ya... but i can tell ya it looks a hell of a lot better than that!! The front end has been fixed up and looks alot different.

    The New GT-R...!!!

I think a lot of you are going to be very very impressed with the new skyline, i have pics of it in a mag that were released. They have changed the look from the concept pics alot and have made the front a little more subtle which really looks unreal... don't want to spoil what it looks like but its awesome!! P.s. I thought i'd also add to the V8 debate that they did actually have plans to use a de-tune version of the V8 twin turbo from the LM GT1 nissan Le Mans car in the GTR, until the new laws were passed regarding emissions in japan about 18 months ago... so i guess it really would have been a supercar
  8. The oil lines come from the fittings on the rocker covers that normally re-circulate blow by. You can vent a catch can if you want, its a good thing to do when you get high oil pressure from big power, or bigger turbos etc, takes a bit of stress out of it all. Same with oil/air seperaters, i guess this is the main reason you fit a catch can to properly seperate the air form the oil and recirculate it back into the system, but i prefer to not do this and simply just get rid off excess oil in the can.
  9. I found out recentyl that running an external wastegate has a large deal to do with the flutter. The flutter you would hear on your vid's from ripped jap cars is because the large majority of them run bigger turbos which need external wastegates and is the reason alot of them flutter on the burnout cos they are reving high enough for it to bypass gasses and flutter as the turbo constantyl produces pressure after each time it releases air... makes sense cos its running of exhaust gases. However i still can't manage to work out why mine sounds so different to other skylines out there... i think like someone mentioned earlier the fin shape on turbos has a lot to do with it, and as i have an after market bigger turbo then thats probably the reason, but i'll keep searching for the answer to end this discussion once and for all lol.
  10. I'll start... 8THSIN on the exvitermini supra
  11. Lets change the topic a bit and get some of the best we seen...
  12. Hey all, Really gotta get rid of if, i bought it bout three weeks ago and had it on teh car for less than 2 weeks. I got the genuine Turbosmart CNC'd mount for it aswell, cost me $398 for BOV and $99 for mount. Askin $270 for both. Selling cos i finally got my one i ordered from japland ages ago, and i need a big fuel pump
  13. Come to think of it the lamest plate i have ever seen which will probs make you all laugh was "DRIFT" on a Toyota land cruiser prado?? WTF... if that thing tried to drift i wouldn't want to be withint 8 lanes of either side of the thing, would look like a ship in high sea's aswell.
  14. "so my number plate - VSP33C - vspec on a r33 makes me lame too?" Dude that plate is good as... The only ones that shoudl be bagged are the one's that have been copied 20 different ways saying the same thing over and over... i.e. NV plates, DVS/8 plates... there is so good plates getting round that some people bag, i think its jus a bit of jealousy some of the time... and unless we peoples have a personalised plate themselves then don't bag anyone anyway, cos ya can't get any lamer than a stock plate really?
  15. they run oil to the bearing but they are water cooler, thats what the too banjo bolts are on the side of the bearing housing, the one on top is the oil, and the one under neath is the return feed to the sump for the oil.
  16. Yeah, the prolonged flutter i am talking about wont stop until i take my foot off the pedal. Its stupid... i have tried re-adjusting it and it makes no difference whether the srping is set hard or easy so i dunno. Gets annoying tho.
  17. As for the watercooler part... all stock R32/33/34 turbos are water cooler anyway. Just a matter of getting custom lines that will reach the outlet points on teh block for the water lines and the same for the poil line aswell. Nothing ya wouldn't have to do for any turbo upgrade other than a high-flowed stock one.

    The New GT-R...!!!

Actually there will be a V model produced... it will be headed for the states. It is a 4.5ltr V8 pumping around 300kw.
  19. Ypou can run a return to the sump, but depends on the design of it and how you want it to work. I don't have a retun ya just remove the lines then chuck a bit of petrol/thinners in there and wash it out then rinse it with water empty it and fit it back on. Not to hard, to have it return to the sump you have to tap into the sump.
  20. Yeah know all bout the compressor surge and the piping differences as to pitch and sound of BOV, but then why do cars with say GReddy Type S/R or A`Pexi BOV still flutter... must be because the BOV spring is tight and hence not opening? I am running all alloy piping for cooler and am changing the pipe from the inlet of the turbo to the filter to alloy aswell once i get the computer in and can remove the plum back lines for the standard BOV. So if i change this to alloy it will amplify the sound eh? But obviously not as much as it is softer than steel which would resonate a lot more... stupid really that i am even bothering with all this but its a mad sound lol Ads for changing from the Turbosmart BOV i have found that it doesn't go well with my turbo... not sure why but when i am on the throttle say in a constant gear (i.e. 5th gear on fwy) then i back off even the slightest to control speed the BOV piston starts fluttering and wont stop until i change my throttle position, so it is shit to drive... like i am talking ti can keep the BOV doing this for km's, its plain stupid and jerky to drive. So iunless i can cure thios i want a different BOV that will more suit my turbo, hence something based on say a pull type design like the HKS SSQ.
  21. The problem with everything at the moment is prices seem to be going up but wages aren't. As always it takes time for everything else to follow suit to fit the demands of inflating prices on living. With all the new taxes and sh*t the government is imposing on everything is making the cost of living a lot higher, therefore making it harder for people to afford other the things they need i.e. a place to live, a car whatever. The increase in property prices have jumped lately again and is happening all over the country not just in sydney. I know in Melbourne things such as new freeway extensions and ne wshopping centers are boosting market prices in the vacinty to these facilities enormously. But also down along the surfcoast at Torquay prices of houses and land are jumping fast as there is a increasing demand for development of houses in the area. Its like anything tho why look at what you can't afford? Yes we all know it would be nice to live on Southgate in Melbourne, or on a beach front house in Brighton... but the fact of life is not all of us are lucky enough to afford that kinda life. So look at what you can afford, cos there is plenty of very very nice houses in areas that might not particularly be what you want but are still a damn good house, and if was in any other suburb would sell for tripple the amount. There are plenty of suburbs on the outskirts of well sort after suburbs that i would definately live in and at half the cost!! Whats the point in working your ass to the bone to pay off a 600K house which realistically will tak you most of your life, then by the time you finish paying it off you sittin there and old person, with a wasted life? The feeling of owning your own house is only as good as you make.
  22. So with the RB26 plenum... does it fit on an RB25 or not?? Cos if it does i'm doin it next week... would it bolt straight onto the RB25 runners tho or does it need to be welded to an adaptor plate that bolts onto the stock runners?
  23. Yeah i had a Type 3 Supersonic on, it had huge flutter but it sounds like the BOV opening and closing continuously (the piston actually jitters if you watch it) but doesn't sound like the normal flutter. Sounds alright but not great. Pretty loud tho. I just went for a drive then with no BOV at all and it sounded sick, i just want it so stay like that without doing damage to the turbo. I know it can be done cos i heard it on heapsa other cars so i'm gunna find out how.
  24. Yeah i have a filter also and yeah that does amplify the flutter sound as its coming directly off the turbo, and that is in fact where the sound comes from, but i jus can't work out why after those rev's also that it doesn't flutter... i think i might go for BOV number 4 and get an A`Pexi dual chamber and see, cos my mate has one of them and it flutters unreal, real slow distinct sound... and if it don't work then i'll chuck it out the window ont he freeway ha ha
  25. Yeah if i run no BOV i get flutter but thats jus compressor surge routing my turbine shaft and thrust bearing... so i'd rather not, but i heard skylines all the time with no aftermarket BOV that flutter awesome, so the only thing i could bring it down to was that its cos i have a bar and plate core as aposed to tube and fin... i dunno got me stumped.
