have u got the dyno graph for that? here is my graphs: Old - car stock: Recent - after mods: and this is what the guys over on the us forums had to say: and ideas guys? also on the first run it made 162.8rwkw though..... the 2nd run made even less????
-
update: seems like there is nothing wrong with my car..... i am putting it down to the operation of the dyno itself. what a waste of $55 i might have to take it elsewhere to see what happens.
-
its 2" diameter... but the track is illegal because its too wide.. so when a cop sees 19" they will be happy. i have been pulled over in defect stations and RBT all the time here in sydney, and all the cops do is say to me "wow mate nice car, love the rims" and let me go! -mark

i reakon it would be mad if you de-tinted your car would look so awesome with the black
-
no i havent only done 50k on the car so far -mark

yeh i did use the loctite on the bolts and the plenum spacer install seems to be A-Ok. all tourqed up to specific settings. The thing is i dont think the pelnum spacer will cause a problem with AFR as the air is being sucked in, not let out hence the pressure is the othere way yes when i did the install i made sure the oil filler thing is not pinching when i installed it.

well it made more power than a stock 350z, but not with a bad issue.... my car seems to be leaning out at the lower and higher rpm. the midrange seems to be ok. i will try scan the dyno graph. 1st run made 162kw 2nd run made 158kw but leaning out even worse than before. what could be the cause of this? the dyno tuner said that most possibly the fuel pump may be on the way out. i have recently just installed the plenum spacer, the cf intake and the grounding kit. i did an ecu reset as well. what else could contribute to very bad AFR? an air leak somewhere? -mark

Audio Express - Sydney Workshop Run (eoi)
BLISTC replied to Chris Rogers's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
cant make it i will be overseas! -
on the rear with my setup, i rolled the rear guards. $50 a side, and it didnt crack the paint. there is no scrubbing whatsoever. when there is passengers in the rear, you should see the clearance. less than 1-2mm from the guard to the rim! on the front there is again no scrubbing at all. V35s can take a huge different assortment of rims. But it is the tyre choice which will also mean will it scrub? or not? eg. if i went with a 35 profile instead of a 30 profile on my rims, then yes there would be major clearance and scrubbing issues.

+15 offset? how wide is the rim? maybe a bit to aggressive for what your after. especially if it is in the region of 9-9.5/10-10.5 which is the width you should be looking at. +30 offset? again how wide is the rim?
-
millos, best STANDARD offset imo is 9.5" wide +22 front / 10.5" wide +22 rear. the rims will be FLUSH, not stick out. I have seen alot of exmaples of people who put rims on this car and the offset is all wrong. The same issue with 350Z. These cars have massive guards... FILL THEM! anything higher than a +22 will look shit. Definatley dont go to mid 30's. You will be kicking yourself if you do. I have done EXTENSIVE research into the offset of rim sizes and what works and what doesnt on V35s. I researched for about 4 months before i decided on buying my rims. I have looked at what alot of other people have done. anything under a +22 (e.g. in my case +8 front / +18 rear) is getting much more aggressive and you need to run alot of negative camber. you can get a nice flush look without the bad effects of negative camber with the offset i have recommended. throw a 265 tyre on the front and a 285 tyre on the rear and then you will have a VERY nice looking setup. but REMEMBER you need a 9.5" wide front and 10.5" wide rear, otherwise the offset i just mentioned will be useless. And that goes for everyone else here who has recommended you an offset. WITHOUT KNOWING THE WIDTH OF THE RIM, TRYING TO DETERMINE THE OFFSET IS USELESS.

Cleaned Throttle Body, Now Revs High
BLISTC replied to Pete82's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
cant you perform the ecu reset like the one on the V35 isnt it the same thing? -
yeh was 178kw @ the wheels since then like i said it got the plenum spacer, and intake and grounding kit. thats all that should effect power. also i got wider rear wheels, dont know how that will effect the dyno. the car definately feels faster since the new mods put it, i can attest to that. the dyno day is @ IS motor racing on Saturday 11th July (this sat) so yeh come down if you guys are free.
-
all the best to you and your family. congrats on the latest addition!

hey guys installed mine today ive got a 6mt so i dont know if any difference yet as i havent even driven the car. the install was very easy and straight forward. took about 45min all up. if i were you swap the wires 2 and 8 around as the wire for 8 is a bit longer and will get to the grounding point a bit easier, and 2 is a bit shorter it goes to the battery, and will look a bit neater. also when you install put all your terminals the right way up, makes it a bit neater and better contact. The wire should be up the top and the terminal flat on the bottom,

i shall ask them about the different item group buys and let you know, however i doubt it. work out the price of the module on the website, then, minus the percentage of that price. thats the group buy price. i will organise this when i get back from overseas. also i will be organising a battery cover group buy to fill that ugly hole on the drivers side engine bay -mark -
