  1. I loose traction quite easily still with a 295 on the rear....... granted that only 2/3 of it is only making contact with the road............
  2. full engine rebuild, stroked engine. big big big $$$$$$
  3. Hey guys have talked with Tony from Riverside Inifniti, since organising the Motordyne Group buy he is happy to help out on any other ones in the future. I asked him if he sells the JWT which i think they do and can do a GB on that with the Z Tube for 4 untis delivered to sydney. So i will get back to you with a price.
  4. there is a solution to your problem if you do a search basically need to go into the menu and reset the service sechdual
  5. if you disarm the audible sensors, then when you go to park wont they render the sensors useless?
  6. hey guys, quick update. Riverside Infiniti are sending out the Gaskets. a big thank you to Tony from R.I. as soon as they arrive i will post that the kit is available to collect / post out. Even though they claim they sent them, they clearly were not in the box when they arrived. So i dont know what has happened. I think they may have misplaced the package with the gaskets. -mark
  7. imo for a $28 saving its not worth the hassle to organise the group buy, if it does get picked up by customs for whatever reason then yes still you will be paying even more in the end. then you cant even send it interstate, as once you do, then you have to pay for postage as well. also keep in mind that if paying by credit card, there is international currency exchange fees, and if paying by paypal, their exchange rate is always lower than the current exchange rate. i would just buy it myself to avoid the hassle. good try on the group buy, but not worth it imo.
  8. they are universal so i guess will work on any car
  9. i get better fuel consumption on this car than any other car ive owned! i get around 550kms to a tank, and it costs me $70-80 to fill up with 98 octane bp ultimate. That usually lasts me on average about 2 weeks worth of driving. My 2 old cars, 180sx and S15 both making over 250rwkw, they only lasted 300kms and cost me around $60-$70 to fill up also. im loving the fuel economy of this car
  10. yeh you dont have to drill anything at all. all you have to do, is remove 1 bolt from the fender, and replace it with their own bolt. then, you just remove the plastic cover over the hood hinges, and then remove the top bolt, and slide on their bracket, and put the bolt back on. its such an easy installation to do.
  11. it is compareable to a 350z, same engine etc. there is lots of tourque all over the powerband, especially down low which will give it that "fast" feeling but still nowhere near as fast as the previous cars you owned. should be faster than the is200
  12. hey robin did you get the long gasket with this kit also?
  13. Got them from a trader on G35driver.com "JDMAutosports" Ryan is excellent with communication, he is one of the best sellers i have dealt with over there. Ended up paying around $190 AUD delivered for the Carbon Fiber ones.
  14. Keeping with the current trend of mods...... just some more rice arrived on my door step to go on the car. Ive been ordering alot of simple mods in which i can install myself So these turned up.......... NRG Carbon Fiber Hood Dampers These are some pretty good quality hood dampers and apparently can support the stock and also aftermarket hoods. Not only is it great to show off when you open the engine bay, but it makes working under there alot easier. It also raises the hood alot more than with the stock hood prop. IMO all cars from factory should come with these things! Installation took about 30 minutes, and was very easy and straight forward. There is alot of info and DIY on these simple mods on the US G35 forums. Here are some pics, just finished installing them not long ago, its a bit dark! Also, the Motordyne Iso Thermal plenum spacer i ordered arrived, so looking forward to do another DIY on that item -mark
  15. another mark driving a v35 that makes like 7 of us now hahah welcome!
  16. Hi Ash, sorry i was not aware of a special group buy section in the forum. Also due to the rare nature of our car, such a thread made elsewhere in the forums i think would go un-noticed and the group buy would not be as successful. -mark Hey guys, just a heads up i did receive the kits however it seems like there is the main gasket, it is missing, all 5 of them. I think they forgot to put it in the box. i have emailed riverside infiniti to see what is the go, as it should of been included with the kit. Hopefully they can just pop it in an express satchel and send it over.
  17. good news everyone the spacers have arrived! i have them at my place. pm sent to all those involved they cleared customs all good as well

  20. mine always work on both sides.
  21. put simply, these kits benefit auto's more than they do a manual transmission car

  23. if i were you i would check the 350Z forums as alot of people there do big brake upgrades and sell off their existing brakes.
  24. something similar to that happened to me, i was flying down conrod straight @ bathurst in my mates hyundai lantra hit about 170km.h and then BOOM left rear tyre popped and tore into half. was so hot had to wait like 30min for it to cool down before i could change the tyre to the spare
