  1. woah that is damn cold!
  2. my problems...... 1. my bose cd player is goneskies. wont read any cds. solution? i got chris to put an ipod cable so now i can listen to ipod. this will tie me over for 1 yr or so until i decide to get an aftermarket stereo system. its not a priority right now, as i think the stock BOSE system does an ok job. 2. The paint is weak as anything. These cars scratch very easily! i have a few scratches here and there which i will get taken care of when i get my bodykit put on, i might go and respray the whole car at the same time. 3. The leather on my drivers side seat, where it meets the plastic on the right hand side near the lever to make the seat lean forward so people can get in the back.......... it has started to crack. I plan to retrim the seats too so i really dont care, want to get some better leather trim put in the car. 4. Rear Axel Click - this started happening on my car but i took the TSB to pro concept in west ryde and Joshua there fixed it for me. no more rear click! Thats all my problems i have had so far
  3. iain you should come down too as well then, 4wd all welcome
  4. hey guys the dyno is a 4wd dyno. shouldnt matter though all our cars are RWD unless someone has done some freekish DIY modifications the time determined of how long you get your run all depends on who gets there first. you may arrive at 8am and there allready be a few people there. so you may have to wait 1 hr or 2. i will arrive around 10-11am and just see whos there, and book my place in. i dont mind waiting for my turn as usually good company and some bbq food makes up for the wait -mark
  5. hey mate which sun visor did you replace? i went there to replace my RHD visor but he wanted $50 and i didnt have time to strip it

  7. Hi Guys I am also a member of the Nissan Sports Car Club and i have managed to get us all an invite to their Dyno Day on Saturday 4th July When: Saturday 4th July Time: 8am START Where: Autotech 18-20 George Street, Granville NSW 2142 Australia Schedual for the Day: We will be starting at 8am, it will be $55 for the day per car. That will involve 2 power runs maybe 3, coffee tea and biscuits. A BBQ lunch and soft drinks will also be provided by Spiro and his Team and everyone will receive their Dyno sheet laminated. As in the past it is a very well run day and for $55 is good value with lunch provided. The Running order is first in best dressed and so on. This invite is open to ALL V35'ers (Coupe and Sedan). It has been a while we have all been discussing power output of our V's, so its time to get our there and see some REAL numbers. Autotech is also the official installer for APS so maybe we can talk about getting these kits into our cars for some of the members who may be interested. Spiro is very knowledgeable with the VQ series engines having worked on many customers 350Z. Also, the Nissan Sports Car Club is an excellent CAMS AFFILIATED club so those of you who are looking for a great atmosphere in a club, which partakes in events such as supersprints, hill climbs, track days and weekly coffee meets, you are able to find out more about the club and join as well. Check out the website : http://www.nissansportscarclub.org Any info please PM me. Cheers, -Mark For those of you who are interested in attending please add your name to the list in the posts below. I need a final number of attendees so i can let the NSCC know as they have to organise the food and drinks. Attending ------------------------------ 1. BLISTC (Mark) 2. 3. 4. 5.
  8. hey guys heads up, the parcel was dispatched today. should take about 6-10 days for it to arrive at the door, if all goes well. -mark
  9. unfortunately you cant put your old unit back in, as the whole unit is connected to the bose stereo, hence the reason why they need to be replaced with the removal of the factory unit.
  10. if you try to do a burnout get the wheel spinning then as soon as you hit the brake, the vdc will kick back in. ive read this happens on the g35 on American forums has anyone been down to the strip and tried it? also if you do excessive slippage like a spin out.... the slip light will remain on. dont panic. just turn the car off and on again and it will be ok.
  11. yeh it looks like it does danny........ just lift off the rocker cover (its 4 screws) and they probably will all be coming from the same point from the front of the engine. it wont hurt to buy another one though...... more wires is better...... up to you though.
  12. that is a very cheap quote for the fascia / buttons. he must have some aftermarket ones there, because the original nissan parts for the v35 cost somewhere in the vicinity of $1000 delivered. (oh i re-read your post and to point out yes, the buttons are not supposed to be rubber, it does kinda look tacky! devalue the look somewhat..... you can buy the orginal buttons from japanparts.com)
  13. danny if you want i can help you install it if your in sydney and have a free weekend i cant imagine it being too hard i installed the Z tube myself, and i will be doing the plenum spacer too. might as well do this one also. -mark
  14. add me to the list - Red colour and yes also find out if it is suitable for the RHD cars since our battery etc. is on the opposite side of the car. this kit looks like the wires are the EXACT sizing, so, it might be a problem if it wont reach the grounding points.
  15. hahah yeh it is hey for that price even i may give it a go when do you plan on making payment? will be about $140-150 aud correct? -mark
  16. hey Fox the price i got quoted was for $225 DELIVERED. thats including the shipping. it was about $155 or something before shipping.
  17. they are 100x more beneficial to the auto's, as it helps the transmission etc. the 6mt do see difference as well, but, obviously dont reap as many of the rewards
  18. sorry to throw a spanner in the works this grounding kit i have actually found to be better, and has been around for longer...... http://g35driver.com/forums/reviews/55081-...undinggear.html problem is he doesn't do group buys (ive already asked) and the best price he can do is $225 USD delivered which is still cheaper than buying it from the store in USA / Canada, because he has offered a promotional pricing
  19. manda23 first contact a few different people. i contacted 3 different people before i found the cheapest price for the spacer. secondly, the best way to save the most money is to order a few and send to 1 address. that way you save on shipping keep in mind though orders over $1000 AUD are subject to 10% GST and 15% Import and Customs Duty taxes on top. So that means try keep the price down or work something out with the supplier again If i were you organise the GB for JUST THE POPCHARGER on its own, with no Tube. leave it up to the people to buy which tube they want. hope this helps -mark
  20. Hey guys i have made payment for the item already. Should be here within another week or so -mark
  21. yeh guys just sit tight. riverside infiniti have a good rep, however for some reason lately they are taking forever to answer their emails / private messages. im dealing with the same wait right now every time i send them a message in the motordyne group buy -mark
  22. danny if this one goes well, i might do another one for the other members. just to let you know the price was $280 delivered thats $100 cheaper than the last group buy. As i said, if this one goes well with no hic-cups, then i may consider helping the others out -mark
  23. yeh thats the price i payed, $151 USD came to $196 AUD at the time delivered.
  24. hi guys an update and some great news have managed to secure an EXCELLENT price from Riverside Infinity! Those of you in the GB, i will pm you personally the steps to take next and the price Cheers -mark
