ive hit the speed cut on the v35 the speedo actually went past 180, kept going past say to around 200km/h then it cut off wasnt too harsh, just like u put ur foot down and was just a total loss in power then no response for a few seconds until the speed dropped, then the power came back on again

hey danny in terms of the ecu i am in the same boat as you i have found an american company who will provide the supercharger kit with the orisis ecu with a pre-tuned map but i dont think its a good idea as they run on different fuel etc. and id rather get it tuned for our car specifically. the 2 ecus i am considering for our car are: 1. Haltech Platinum 2. EMS reason being these are a 1 ecu fits all type of system, and the other is that australian tuners are very familiar with these 2 ecu's keep you updated mate on the supercharger etc. -mark

millos i just want to keep it for the 5/16 for now, i dont see it being a problem i can maybe get your one as well ill keep you posted for now. cheers -mark

Hi Danny from the numerous searches i have done and research on these spacers, the motordyne spacer seems to be the better of the 2 spacers (hence this is the one i will be purchasing!)

Hi Guys I want to get another group buy rolling for the MOTORDYNE ISO THERMAL 5/16" PLENUM SPACER (Will Suit V35 / 350Z) This group buy is mainly to make things easier for myself, and mainly bring the price of shipping way down down down............. So... 1. Group Buy open to Sydney people only. This is so i can get all the spacers sent down to 1 address in NSW to bring the total cost down. 2. You must be able to pick up the spacer from Liverpool in Sydney from myself, or, able to meet 1 night in a centralised location to collect your spacer once it arrives. 3. You may opt to pay for extra postage for the spacer, once it arrives, to be sent from my house to your place if you can not pick it up. I assume it shouldnt cost too much and i will have to get you an exact quote once it arrives. I am aiming for a minimum purchase of 5 spacers to bring the cost down. Once we have 5 confirmed numbers i will contact the seller and organize the group buy. I will be getting them from Riverside Infiniti as i have been talking to them in the past and they sell the spacer for the cheapest. Along with the half decent AUD i assume we could get these in for a really good price. ($300-350 AUD? - just a guess) If your interested PM me i will add your name to the list. Cheers -Mark -------------------------------------------------------- MOTORDYNE ISO THERMAL 5/16" PLENUM SPACER GROUP BUY 1. Mark (BLISTC) 2. 3. 4. 5.

BLISTC replied to BLISTC's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
im interested to see this kit also! is it just a front bar? or is it rear and side skirts also? imo, it would be awesome if there was a kit which looked like vertex for our car. i dont really like the ings frnot and rear the vertex would be nice (like the 350z vertex or even the 350z amuse kit) -

i have been reading some threads about the 370z and the power gains are AMAZING! especially in the stock exhaust, it is so restrictive. On the 370Z, the americans have put in aftermarket exhaust, induction, and z tubes, and they are reaching 250RWKW! with just the induction / exhaust mods alone! that is insane... the VQ35HR engine is awesome! -

Has anyone got a spare coupe grille? pm me a price delivered to sydney postcode 2165 cos i want to buy a spare one cheers -mark

the induction note is definitely louder as all the restrictive parts have been removed. you really only hear it in the upper rev ranges when you give it a bootfull.... as far as power goes, i really dont know cant tell. i already have a K&N Drop In Filter, i dont think i will spend the money on the popcharger etc. as when i get the supercharger it is pointless anyway as far as quality goes, its pretty damn clean and nice. very well made. the only gripe i have, is that the emissions tube is a bit further down and you have to like stretch the tube a bit further down, than where the stock item is placed. also you really need to stretch the accordian rubber parts in order to get a good fit, as IMO it doesn't line up as good as say the factory z tube. -mark

postage is $32.50 i think or there abouts USD

So this morning i woke up and UPS man was at the door with a parcel. Finally the Carbon Fiber Z Tube i had ordered 1 1/2 weeks ago had arrived. I ended up ordering it from www.thezstore.com and it was $195 AUD delivered at the time the exchange rate was around 75c The Z Store's tube is actually sourced from www.evo-r.net but they are cheaper. Evo-R.net are the manufacturers of this Z Tube. It is made from real CF and it is really well made as well. I peeled off the EVO-R sticker which came off pretty easy and left no residue. I like it to look clean, and with under bonnet temps this sticker will just fall off over time anyway....... I went to work and got home around 11pm. I couldnt wait and seeing how easy the DIY was i decided to attempt this install. It was a fairly simple and straight forward install. 15min later and i was done! Finished the installation...... dammit i need to clean my engine bay! and here is the picture of the part it replaces....... see it is just not all for looks, these things actually increase the air flow, due to the stock part having so many resonators for noise etc. and hence provide a very minimal increase in power (and they make lots of induction noise now too WOO!) I really like doing DIY...... it feels very rewarding once the job is done (especially for a n00b like me) -mark

you can buy the complete kit which comes with the ecu / injectors however i am looking at the tuner kits so we can use our own ecu / injectors like say a haltec or ems (something more familiar down here in oz) and then yeh the kit comes with the walbro fuel pump also you wont need a return fuel line those figures were on a stock '04 model engine boost was only on 10psi / 91 ron fuel......... it all comes down to the tuner i guess......... here is the thread on G35 Driver http://g35driver.com/forums/forced-inducti...hp-336rwtq.html
