  2. is there any way to have the factory unit still working along with another unit for GPS through the same screen? all the units i have seen so far replace the factory sat nav i want to relocate the factory sat nav to the boot, and replace the stock position with an aftermarket sat nav. or if all else fails, i will rip it all out and custom mount some stuff in there and just go with something else

  5. how much are they the reason being, is that we could probably save $$$ on shipping, and being such a common problem i am a bit worried it might happen to me. with your car only doing 22,000 kms and the motors failing, im worried because ive done double that amount of kms, but havent experienced that problem yet. and i put my windows down every time i get in the car -mark
  6. reading from the american forums, it is a very common problem on the V35 / G35 cars the window motor needs to be replaced. if you go to nissan and order one they will slug you one hefty bill (around $700) i have seen them for sale on ebay oem genuine parts for much cheaper. i dont know if it is a problem with left / right had side as in america everything is switched? -mark

  8. i remember when i was looking at V35's 2 years ago that there was a dealer across the road from Powerplay Imports and he had 2 V35's which i checked out and both of them had full leather interior.

  21. i had this clutch on the S15 and i loved it. i didnt get the chatter because being a 2ltr 4cyl, you needed to keep the revs up around 3000rpm for just normal crusing [well thats how i drive it anyway, with the vq its different i cruise around 1800rpm] it was so grabby, i remeber clutch kicking and putting 20psi and 250kw through the rear wheels and it was ALL going to the rear wheels... no clutch slipping awesome power delivery it was a great piece of kit. when i first tried to drive it, it felt so weird, and yes i too stalled it once or twice on the way home. i got used to it very quickly and then it felt great and 2nd nature. the clutch pedal yes is super soft, almost unbelievable that it is a twin plate clutch. -mark
  22. it shouldnt be your fault that the aussie dollar dropped perfect example is the situation with my rims i paid a deposit at the 102 yen price have to wait 3 months for the suckers to get made. anyways, the aud drops, the guy who is brigning the rims in is loosing at least 1k on them or there abouts. nothing he can do i paid for them they are mine bring them in.
  23. on another note this wont screw up or damaged jap polished or anodised rims?
  24. im still going to import my bodykit from the us. the worst part about it is that shipping is the major killer, $800 USD to ship it to australia. better keep saving. its next on the list after i get my rims. the kit is just a front bar and side skirts, the fb is urethane the side skirts are fibreglass, the rear pods i allready bought a set from usa last month so i have those, they are just the factory ones cost $130 delivered brand new allready in the right factory colour. the fb and side skirts are $1100 usd. ouch. oh well tough times.... will take around 3 years i reakon for the AUD to recover... and im not waiting that long to mod my V!
