  1. Hi guys what is the type of material used in the interior of our cars? I doubt it would be suede as it would deteriorate very fast. It is a suede like material though, it has similar properties, but i imagine would be much much more durable and resistant to stains. I want to know whats the best way to clean these seats as it appears there is some light stain on the passenger seat in my car [has nothing to do with my driving i swear ] -mark
  2. as promised... my stock 6mt '04 V35...... -mark
  3. really? only 3k + ecu.... interesting i might stay NA then! TEMPTING.... would sound mad... have some nice trumpets sticking out of the bonnet hahah
  4. Product Details: 18x9.5 Rota Torque - Hyper Black (E20) Wheel Style - Torque Wheel Diameter (Inches) - 18" Wheel Width (Inches) - 9.5" PCD Bolt Pattern - 5x114.3 Offset - +20mm Hub Bore - 67.1mm Color - Hyper Black as you can see the offset is +20mm. The recommended offset is +22 so these will sit perfect on the 350gt / 350z. if you want to go even FATTER, i suggest putting 10mm spacers to bring them to a +12 offset but then you will need stretch tyres, your guards to be rolled, and finally some sort of camber arms to adjust the camber.
  5. check out the Top Secret ITBs it also comes with a perspex airbox too so u can show them off spare about 10k though
  6. The author from that article, Ross Catanzariti is an old school friend of mine who i still see regularly as he is one of my brothers best friends. ill see if i can get my hands on this device and check it out. hes a lucky bastard he gets to try all the good and latest gadgets for free and writes reviews for them on good gear guide.
  7. not to mention to import a similar vehicle right now from japan, would cost you almost 40k with the current exchange rate!
  8. hey mate who did that gps and work for you looks tops! was it chris Rogers?
  9. there is more drive train loss if you have an auto keep that in mind
  10. if your worried about the bottom end then yes, turbo is a better idea, something bigger say like twin GTRS that hks offer the VQ engine is weakest when it takes a massive hit of torque down low. with a SC there is no lag and the tourqe is greatest. with a turbo, the turbos build boost gradually and the initial hit isnt as severe. having said that, i still wouldnt mind mind SC my VQ.... i never owned a car with a SC before i have driven many turbo cars in my time and owned two.... just might need to rebuild the engine or use stronger head studs at least -mark
  11. alan, pm sent. thanks for the help!
  12. Hi guys Can anyone in SYDNEY help me please need to borrow a stock set of v35 rims for 1 week. or any other rims for that matter which will fit the v35 properly with the brembo brakes i can pick them up anywhere in sydney and also drop them off to your house. needed for around 1 week total it needs tyres too which are at least bare minimum roadworthy. if anyone can help me with this, it would be great cheers -mark
  13. hey guys im selling the rims that came with my v35 if anyone is interested http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Vo...nd-t240364.html i get lots of looks with them on the car i know they aren't the best offset for our car, but, with a spacer they would look good and be the cheaper option out than forking out over 1k per rim right now as it is with the exchange rate! here are 2 pics of the rims on the car... regards, -mark
  14. I am selling them in advance so that i can pay for my new rims once they arrive. The buyer only has to leave a 10% deposit for the time being to secure the rims. The remaining amount is to be paid in full once my rims arrive - which is end of October / Early November regards, -Mark Update: Here are the same rims on my mates car: as you can see it is complete flushness with the guards! -mark
  15. Take the TSB down to joshua @ Pro Concept Racing in West Ryde or to Power Play Imports @ Drummoyne only 2 places i would trust with my car!
  16. if you have the $$$, the best spacers i have ever seen, and used are the H&R TRAK+ Spacers. They are made of a magnesium alloy compound, which weigh next to nothing, and are specifically made to suit the stud pattern [they are NOT universal]. They also come with the correct wheel studs to suit. They are also hubcentric. I have 2 sets for sale for 4 x 114.3 stud pattern which was to go on my 180sx, but never got around to it due to an unforeseeable incident with that car they cost me $250 a pair, but are well worth the $$$ for safety and quality. Only problem is they come in 5mm and then 15mm applications. No 10mm well not that i have found yet anyway they might of released a 10mm one by this time.
  17. im well aware of this, hence i have nagisa auto suspension coming for the car, front camber arms being one component The rims i have gone with are the same rims as that 350z in the picture as well.. Volk GTS in Titanium Gunmetal - another 3 weeks they should be here. cant wait for them to arrive! I hope the non-stretched look suits the V35....
  18. having all sorts of people, young and old, admire the car. people thinking your rich for driving one [ahahahaha] people trying to race me off the lights, and i just cruise normally..... not satisfaction... but a pet hate.... people keeping up with you, staying in the lane next to you, driving behind you, following you on the road to perve at the car....
  19. hey mate they should be fine ive ordered new rims, 19 x 9.5 + 17 front / 19 x 10.5 + 17 rear i plan on putting a 10mm spacer on the front too so that will be a +7 in the end, that is for a FLUSH guard finish, also would need around -2.5 degree camber front and rear to make them clear also need the inner guard lips rolled. I wont need a stretched tyre. plan on running 275 front and 295 rear instead of a stretch look. also im paranoid about scratching my rims so the rubber being a bit over the rim lip will mean incase i do ever have a slight touch then the rim wont get damaged! its a bitch to fix rays anodized rims! here is a pic of a similar setup on a 350Z - what does everyone think?
  20. Technical Service Bulletin ?
  21. Hi guys maybe we can get a list going to help us in the future. I am wondering what parts are interchangeable between 350z and the V35 I know that the Swaybars from both cars are identical and interchangeable. What other items are? Suspension? Engine? Braking? Chassis? I am wondering personally if the suspension arms, such as all the rear camber, front camber, rear toe and front tension rods are interchangeable? -Mark
  22. yeh they sent me the wrong ones the guy at the dealership got it wrong i re-orderd with the same part number as above on the box posted in this thread and it was $119
