    Go Karts

speaking out of experience... Eastern Creek Karts your looking at paying around $170-190 per person for a 3 hour "mini grand prix" session. on the other hand.... you can go to Fastlane @ Minto [where i held the ns.com go kart day] and it ended up being like $45 per person, for the same sort of event. I think the general thought of paying the EC price is that for that sort of money you could attend a track day / wsid day etc and use your own car. everyone had fun, everyone thought it was value for money which was also important! i think they do max 50 pple at a time there though. here is the thread if you want any info... http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...opic=92712&st=0 as you can see from the general response everyone enjoyed themselves which i mean for $45 is pretty damn good oh here are some pics also for those who have never seen the track before. http://www.mys15t.com/gallery/view_album.p...umName=go-karts cheers hope this helps you with your organisation for the day. -mark
  3. it looks like it came from outer space! but if you did do that, how would you fill up petrol!? -mark
  4. It is def good when we had the last old pac run, there was like a mix of carss, it would be good to see the difference between the cars and most of all becasue of the small numbers it was damn fun! I am not saying that it is good to only take 10 cars and everyone else misses out, but crusies like that, if your going to the "twisties" arent generally as fun as if you had just you and a few mates. I love going all out on the old pac, it can be very dangerous too - take care people. -mark
  5. hey guys just wanted to say hello and myabe give you a few pointers for next time round, with myself allready organised a few of these cruises before for all the siliva boys over at silviansw.com first off, do a dawn run, make the meet up for say 3am etc. or some stupid time. for a few reasons, especially that there is no civillian traffic on the road AT ALL at this time - every time ive been there hasnt been 1 car on the old pac before. the route we take is like old pac from berowra > wisemans run > galston gorge hillclimb > back to thornleigh maccas for breakfast. you can also reverse this route, and start with a downhill gorge run [scary] and end up with the old pac, but not advised due to traffic on the old pac. if you decide to go on a sunday morning, make sure you make it at least 3am start because around 8-10am ther are cyclists everywhere on the gorge and they ruin the run! also, i think cops browse these forums they might of been ready for you. pm invites to select people you know only and want to come. people who you trust driving with. make the group size max 10 cars. any more than this and its a spell for disaster. the most fun ive had is with about 5 cars only, going at it full on for the whole thing. it really takes alot out of you, make sure you all get sleep! all up round trip is about 5hrs of solid driving, meeting, stopping for a piss, etc. it is the best feeling, nothing but you and your car driving along, hearing the BOV venting against the rockfaces with are 1/2 a meter from your car, and the wisemans run, seeing the sun rise over the mountains and shining on the water. ahh sooo peaceful... heh i better stop now! so yer a few things to keep in mind, to have a fun, safe, bacon free night. -mark
