hey guys sorry to revive an old thread just need some guidance in purchasing a gtr. right now are they MY14 or MY13? i was looking at a black luxury spec gtr currently advertise on carsales for approx. 176k ... i went to have a look at it, its the dealership owners car - approx 2000kms on the clock. i asked them if they could better the price and they refused to budge, even on a new one. i felt the salesperson was a bit rude and pushy and wanted a CC deposit on the spot for the advertised price (no discount not a cent) and hence probably thought i was wasting their time (i am a younger guy so probably thought i was dreaming) i already have finance organised and approved. so whats the go? is this a good price or am i being taken for a ride? ideally id rather purchase a new one in the colour and spec i want (white with luxury spec interior) but if this is a good deal i may have to settle for this. i will take some advice and do as you guys said and look to buy and wait (painfully) towards end of this month hopefully looking to get a better deal. finally, what is a good rate for finance these days, i have been approved at a business rate of 6% but wondering if there is any better out there either through a bank or broker or finance company, or the dealer themselves. thanks

there is no ipod mode in the stock V35, need an audio cable of some sort installed. had one done by audio express and it used to control the ipod when in AUX mode, also charge the ipod etc. and can control the ipod with the steering controls also.

wow 5.5k for a set of volks in 20" is that a bargain or expensive? i cant really comment cos i dont know how much they go for these days (been out of it for a whole) cant believe how expensive they are now especially 2nd hand? i got my 19" GTS for 3,300 delivered new for all 4 - and i sold my 19" GTC for 2,200 to a guy on this forum. he must be cheering now lol

i should clarify - the gear knob is gone IN THE BIN. It had wear marks from being in storage not in a box. The leather thing on the side was all worn out. I have not sold it and if you pm me your phone number i can mms you a photo of the wear thanks

best thing to do is buy some USD's get it changed now. it cost just under $2k delieverd from riverside infinity, but that also included the stillen intake and the stock RHS battery cover and also the drivers key hole delete. they chucked it all in the 1 box so i didnt have to pay multiple shipping! best exhaust ive heard on a V35 still to this day.

just be patient man. these are a hard car to sell, because not many people know wtf they are. i listed mine for sale for 3 months i didnt get 1 enquiry. then 1 guy called me and it was gone.

ok guys i got some new rears & fronts yesterday i can confirm that Dunlop SP Sport MAXX in 295/30/19 (rear) and 265/30/19 (front) will fit better than anything else if you have clearance issues - they have very flush sidewalls and dont stick out insanely like the Pirelli PZERO. I will be sticking to this tire for the future. Also got an excellent price - $350 each for the rear and $245 each for the front. Couldnt be happier for 4 brand new tyres.
