perhaps the people in japan who can afford to own a gtr can afford 2 car spaces? or may already own a garage? who wants to park a brand new supercar on the street? and here's a wild suggestion. maybe the width of the car has some sort of relation to handling and other functionality, other than just "fitting fat lards in it."

hey guys how easy is it to hear knock? as in, can a dyno tuner with the headphones on, can he hear knock at low levels better than the knock sensor? or does the PFC interpretation of the knock sensor show a more sensitive and accurate reading? would you want to tune to the knock sensors number output, or a good set of ears? an autospeed article claims that ears pick up on knock before electronic devices. but everyone on this forum backs their knock sensors as if they give a gold perfect reading. edit: yes i'm talking about the ability to hear with headphones, not just hanging your head out the window whilst driving

i seem to see many high powered built skylines (many of them show ponies) with no timing belt covers is it safe to run without a cover? or is this just asking for troubles? cheers

emanage software is available on the net cant remember if its legally available.... but it is

i did a few gtech 0-100 runs before and after my fmic installation. there was essentially no difference in performance however i did get maybe 200rpm more lag and seemed to have lost a bit of linearity in my power curve. i wouldnt recommend a fmic unless you're going to use it (i didnt even up the boost...)

Yeah he has a pic or two he got one of the gtr in a dealer shop (heaps blurry) but we were in a car and couldnt stop

saw this in Kobe` on the day the gtr was released. only saw one other r35 gtr and that was at a dealer excuse the crap pics

obviously you're unhappy with your current lag and you've seen the down low response of the 2530. whats holding you back?

these are still for sale, seller fell through reason for sale: i sold them because my suspension started squeaking and it looked like i had a leak. i found some other suspension cheap, so i swapped them over. however my squeak is still there and it appears i have about 3 bushes which are leaking (most likely the cause). so im fairly sure i just wasted a lot of time swapping the suspension. the ride was fine, not rough not too damp cheers david

when i had a leak in my rb25det cooler piping, it still ran fine off boost. never took it past 80km/h but it was fine at that speed. its fairly easy to check with some detergent and a air compressor

if its overboosting then there has to be a restriction in the wastegate blocking air flow. if the flapper seems to move freely then the only thing i can think of is to swap an actuator over and see if yours is the cause. (i'm assuming you have removed the stock boost controller) if that doesnt narrow it down, you may have to have a look inside and see whats going on.. = dirty and time consuming!!

considering kmart used to sell monza products, i can't imagine it would be of high quality however a bleed valve is a simple piece of equipment. i imagine it would do the typical job that one would expect it to do. give it a try, for $40 it would have to be one of the cheapest branded bleed valves (not including that turbotech..)

agreed. how often can you put oil in a car, drive for 500km and still have honey coloured clean oil? my oil has always looked identical when i have dropped it from any car i've had. half the time i've dropped oil is to do work on a car, maybe right after an oil change, -its always a dark 'dirty' colour
