  1. Its not just a small rear wing? Theres a thread in the SA section at the moment on these wings...
  2. Damn I don't have any fluffy slippers!! LOL
  3. Geez I won't be getting up for a 5am cruise!! Theres no way you would get me up at that hour unless it was absolutely necessary!! Night cruise is much more appealing!!
  4. LOL thanks!!
  5. Nah - Timmmayyy he sold it and bought a (I hate to say it) Commodore-arrggghhh!!!! The GTR wouldn't tow his boat so he had to give it up - and I hear about it every day!!! And now he hates cruising cos he doesn't like seeing all the other tough Skylines!! LOL If I come, I'll probably hitch a ride with BOOSTD! If the offer's still open!!
  6. I'm in if its this weekend...free of the b/f for the night!! LOL
  7. I heard that Elders stopped insuring imports. I know someone that had a 32 insured through them for cheap and they told him they weren't doing imports anymore. As far as I know 180s are not Aussie delivered! Your 200 is probably Aussie delivered and that's why they insure you.

Zest Fitness at Royal Park (near West Lakes) I've heard is good - used to be Port Power Perfect Fit.
  10. Don't jinx us Bl4cK32!! LOL. I don't want my car to break down, its been reliable for this long!!
  11. Yep big advertised cruise = bound to attract cops...they surf the forums too looking for details!!!
  12. Check nissansilvia.com - there r details of a cruise there. Not sure if its the same one though...
  13. I know u were being sarcastic!! I've always called them and they've told me to bring it down the next day. I doubt they treat girls better, I reckon they thought they could pull the wool over my eyes when I dealt with them.
  14. I have one and I wouldn't drive anything else now - except maybe a GTR I used to drive my b/f's GTR but he sold it, so now I just have mine Its easy to drive, easy to park, easy to control, even in the wet - I came from driving an excel and had no problems at all!! And theres nothing wrong with getting a manual, its more fun!!
  15. John is really good and he'll know your car's limits - he won't tune it so stupidly that it blows up or anything like that. He tunes my b/f's cars and he got an extra 27kw out of one just by tuning it. He said it had heaps more potential but he said he didn't want to go stupid or it would just be too impractical. He is really smart and knows his stuff. I was at Turbo Tune one night when he was tuning a 200sx my b/f's bro was driving at the Clipsal 500. Gained stacks of power, from bout 160 to 180 something kw just by tuning and dyno running it once.
  16. Bl4cK32 - I agree and I never would have taken my car there either. But John is working there now because his brother owns the joint so I'd only take it there to see him - definitely no one else!!! Thats why I said "make sure you ask for him though!!" Hippy - I got into Tilbrooks with no trouble. Why such a long wait?? I personally didn't even think they were that good, but just my 2c!
  17. Don't get a car for as long as you can - they are a constant money pit!!! I put $100 a week into repayments so it gets paid off super quick, $50 a week into an account for insurance, about $50 a fortnight in fuel, plus rego, servicing, and all the other stuff that R31 Skyline Chick mentioned!!! It depends also how old you are as to what your insurance will cost, if you are planning on getting a loan etc etc. There are lots of factors to consider!
  18. I'd recommend John Keen at Turbo Tune (he used to be at Darlington Auto Tune). He's really good with tuning etc, has done lots of turbos, V8 supercars and the like - make sure you ask for him though!!
  19. Im about same same hippy - I'm 20, rating 2 and I'm paying $1,800 with Just Cars. My wheels are insured for 2k, cd player $500, exhaust $600 (even though its probably worth more!!) and car agreed for $22.5k. My excesses all added up are probably about $2,000 - $2,500 which sucks, but don't have a choice!!
  20. her200sx - I helped my bf change my springs - didn't seem all that hard, just trying to get the struts in the right position to do them back up is a bit of a bugger - probably need 2 people to be able to guide them in.
  21. I'm here too! Shrub32 - even I've been on one cruise!! LOL
  22. I agree - chrome is the best. I have only chrome stickers on my car - Nismo and Exhaust Technology to be exact!! I'd have to put the sticker on my front window cos I already have stickers on the back!!
  23. Ewww hairyness!!!
  24. Thats what I thought too - and only $5 and no postage either.
  25. BOOSTD - This may interest u for future street meets... http://www.pandablue.com/nissansilvia/foru...?TID=12687&PN=1
