  1. Following on from this sticker thread...just found these.... U may have seen them already, but they're pretty cheap!! http://www.street-weapons.net/store/?page=...04e1babd36770e4
  2. Dave is ok until u actually buy the car - then he doesn't want to have anything to do with you. I have to say hes ok - he traded my Excel in for 10 grand - hahaha!!!! I think Pedro at Motorcity would take about 40-45 for that 34 - or so he told my b/f anyway when he was considering trading his 32 GTR on it. Got shafted by him thru a consignment deal though so would never deal with him again.
  3. Oh haha very funny!! I can see BOOSTD is impressed with me now! I'll just shut up before I get myself into trouble!!
  4. I've heard the same EVOIV - but it seems there are varying opinions now! I know mine has slightly better economy - hardly enough to notice really though..but its not any worse.
  5. I dunno about selling them!! What if I get defected or something and need the stock rims??!! And I know I answered my own question!!!! I just thought it u didn't intend to kill them, then it'd be ok..but obviously you are intending to do some damage!! Hippy is right - the standard rim/tyre package are 16" 205/55. Hippy, just swap wheels for the weekend and then strangely disappear!!! - Sorry BOOSTD!!!
  6. Yeah Dave is the tall lanky one with a pony tail!!! They had no problems with me taking the car for a test drive - must be cos I'm a girl!!! But of course, they wanted to come as well "for insurance reasons"
  7. Mine got a few more k's per tank cos the new exhaust was less restrictive - but as ImPrOvIsE said, hardly enough for you to worry about saving any money or anything!!!
  8. I've got stock rims but the tyres are pretty good so unless I want the tyres back trashed, they're probably not much use to you are they??
  9. Yeah Alan was good - I suggest it you are looking at buying a car from them, then speak to Alan. Dave is the manager and not half as helpful.
  10. Yep Bl4cK32 I agree totally about those guys. They were rude until they realised I was serious. Asked me heaps of questions about insurance and cash etc etc. Then I dealt with Alan who was really nice and not pushy. Traded my car for a really good price so I was happy. Then when a couple of little problems I'd pointed out hadn't been fixed before I picked it up, they were really abrupt, wouldn't return my calls and weren't the nicest to deal with - so I just kept taking it back until everything was fixed
  11. Yeah Pedro the dude at Motorcity has been driving it around for ages. Its featured in the new ROH Drift R wheel posters
  12. I thought of you when I saw this thread Hippy!! LOL
  13. This happened to my bf when he put an RB20 in his VL. He changed the ignition module and air flow meter and it was fine after that.
  14. Nozila - thats where it came from - he didn't pay anywhere near 30 for it though! I considered buying it too but the kit wasn't exactly to my taste either...I opted for the boring M Spec instead. And the Tommy had heaps of stuff done to it when it came to Australia and I didn't particularly want a car that had been modded. When it came here it had a huge FMIC and aftermarket computer, and all the goodies. They couldn't even get it to run on Aussie fuel so they had to remove the computer and they also removed the FMIC for some reason to try and get it to run. Probably sold all of the gear from it to make a bit of extra cash!!
  15. The 33 Tommy Kaira Stang is talking about used to be owned by my b/f's brother who sold it to John a few months ago as he wanted to buy a house. Tommy Kairas have the huge front and massive rear wing which Troy got rid of cos he said it resembled a shopping trolley. We both bought our cars from the same place in the same week! I wasn't sure on what to get as they had black and white 33 Tommys there at the time - but I settled for mine cos it had lower k's, was cleaner etc etc. We reckon it definitely has a cam or hi flow or something cos it gets up and goes like no other 33 I've ever been in. Makes mine feel like a slug!!!
  16. Nightcrawler is right - there would have been no chance that we were causing a nuisance towards residents around Bunnings!!! R we sure a PM didn't get sent to a cop pretending to be a forum member or something??!! As I said on the nissansilvia forum, there were 4 cop cars trying to cause trouble for us and at the same time, a servo up the road from my b/f's house gets held up twice in three days!! I'd think that a person committing hold ups and others beating people to death in road rage incidents would be slightly more important than defecting our cars.....
  17. LOL - I had the same problem a while ago Erica!!
  18. Well BOOSTD and I pretty much lost everyone after the Bunnings saga but caught up with the cruise at Big W. The b/f whinged so much about not knowing anyone and wouldn't get out of the car so I got the s%& and went home!! Spewing I missed the action!!
  19. Sounds like they've got a pretty extensive cruise planned out. 8 pages of maps I hear!!!!!
  20. Yes back to the cruise thread!! Skipppy I have a feeling it might...but I dunno.... I've been on a couple before that turned out like that.
  21. Correction - now TIMMMAYYY, the quote wasn't "fully sick" it was "Tis a wicked car" if you refer to a past thread!! I think you'll find pics here... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...25&pagenumber=1
  22. Well we can only hope!!! Then they might stop picking on us and start picking on the pieces of crap out there!!
  23. I know of a cheap set of 18s...but they're mine as of tomorrow....Sorry!!!!! Nice ride though!!
