  1. Sounds very familiar to another nationals event involving nissan skylines...
  2. R33 Series 1 AFM is identical if that helps
  3. I finally got my bonnet from J-Town and in shipping it had the epoxy protective coat chipped in two areas. Rather than wait another 6-9 months I am going to try and get a damages claim sorted with the courier as I am f**king over this thing. I would rather my money back or compensation to fix it + damages for the f**k around). I'm not fussed if I see imperfections I just want the thing protected. No structual damages have been done to the CF, just the clear/resin has chipped as you can see in the below. Will be speaking to my panel beaters this week but thought there might be some panel beaters here with some experience / knowledge The bottom pic has some of the chips sitting on top of the bonnet (in case you are wondering)
  4. And the other 6 models before that, Prince and Nissan alike. Nothing wrong with V35 onwards. Take your blinkers off. For the record...Just an example of something people would probably not call a "true skyline'. Don't give me that inline 6 purists bs, the FJ20 R30's were/are an awesome thing; so throw that lineage rubbish out the door. OP: Funny you mentioned curves, I personally don't think 80's/90's skylines were about sexy lines, they were about aggressive angles brute force and ignorance. More manly than say an S chassis. Your rant reminds me of old farts talking about 1960's cars and how they don't make them like they used to, which in turn made me chuckle 16 years from now, I think that today's Mazda2's etc will be the bomb first cars that kids are driving, but with the way in which manufacturers are heading I would not be suprised if kids were learning in hybrid's and nothing else.
  5. HAHAHAHA...Ape indeed I could rock up with an unpainted front bar; but that would be too typical of the R31 owner
  6. I'm out, new front bar won't be painted in time.... Nismoid has the 31 era trophy in the bag anyway
  7. Purchase some tyres that have not gone hard and/or do not have any tread? Get your foot off the clutch before you launch/change gears? Profit?
  8. What are you doing with the Plazaman plenum? Would love to see if it makes a difference in low/mid response compared to my plenum, I dare say it will, but I'd love to know before I go changing the intake again...
  9. Think Proflow in ringwood were about $28ea for a clean, flow test, new seals / caps. This was a couple of years ago.
  10. Too many things hanging off the ECU causing a bad signal somewhere?
  11. Halle, did you get my PM?
  12. PM Sent back at you Halle
  13. Unless you sent it to my old address, which I updated during last years renewal? When I got the reminder email it had my old address and last year it got sent to the correct address (pretty sure I didnt have mail forwarding then, and I am 100% that I updated my deets last year, did so again this year). Will check the mail again tonight, if you can send me a PM with the address you sent it to
  14. As long as I get it by my next track day or show and shine AOK
  15. I'm in
  16. Sent my renewal 30th of September. Presuming another couple of weeks before I get confirmation?
  17. Wheezy

    Esprit Front Pipe

Sounds like the old pre R32 debate
  18. couldn't have put it better frozenpod
  19. It was far from standard when the original owner had it from what I can remember. I wonder if it has had a lot of its parts taken off.
  20. screwed more boost into it this time.....? Nismoid, I swear I have seen a vid with AC with his ass sitting in your boot on the dyno @ autosalon Just saying.
  21. so ummmm, has it been on the track of late? Any news on the plazaman, would love to see if my theory of standard runners will improve your response with a FF plenum. That or I have to take my inlet back to stock and see if I lose or gain anything.
  22. RE001 on the street, yet to decide on track tyres (I have not had enough days out on the track with this turbo to justify RE55's). Personally I am thinking Toyo R888's. But I want a set of rims just for the track, just hard to find decent 17's in 4 stud with width and offset.
  23. Sorry, I meant more along the lines of getting compressor surge because the comp cant flow the air. Worded it wrong.
