Funny that, I see at the top of this thread: " Skylines Australia > Automotive > Nissan R35 GT-R Discussion" It does not say TECHNICAL SECTION, and you can hardly call this forum a 100% strict technical forum. I would not say anything here is technical is the least, if he want's to be an SAU trader thats his business. I could not care either way.
  2. Roy, I just remembered. The trust Type R gates are 47.7mm correct? Will it make a difference going to the 10cm and a 44mm gate?
  3. Sounds like you were there on the day and were beaten.... Sounds like an argument from aussie manufacturers from 1992 also. Pretty sure martin has mentioned all his mods in other threads too. Just saying is all. I don't know either of you and probably will never meet, sounds like the guy is just proud of the work done on the car and good luck to him. If it gets people aware of his product then thats great, gotta make a living some how.
  4. No I have not done it before. I believe that the galleries do NOT line up. IE you would need to make some sort of adpter plate ALA the Blitz one for RB26 intake on RB26. Its NOT worth it. Go a custom manifold (KU / Plazaman) or adapt an RB26 one.
  5. Sure, but IIRC the water pipes underneath and water galleries are different, injectors and fuel rail are different etc. Look into a KU Engineering or Plazaman if you are set on it. If I could do it again I probably would have spent the money elsewhere
  6. 240rwkw~1.4bar, more punchy than the TD06, very drivable with a 25, not quite there with the 20, but driving the TD06 and had a mate with the TD05 I can say its a good in between choice. A lot more stealthy than a big f**k off Trust stainless highmount too! And about 1/3 the price for the kit. Underrated choice for sure!
  7. 2535 or TD05SH-18G 10cm. Bolt on kit for RB25, works a treat on RB20's too
  8. its not a direct fit. The R32 RB25 non VCT head is the same configuration as R32 RB20, a plenum for the 20 will fit the 25DE.
  9. Roy, I have not used a Turbosmart gate but I used to sell both and from past experience the Turbosmart gates are physically larger than most brands on average. I would try to get your hands of both gates and trial fit the best you can. Things may be different now so this point could be null and void.

    I win!!!! I had some kid hit me (he aqua planed into a guard rail then came onto my side of the road, I had a ditch or his car to hit, "tough choice really") while I was driving my girlfriends mums car in the rain (coming back from getting a mates dogs inside because of the weather). Now have to go through bullshit insurance shit. Pretty pissed off. My condolences for everyone who has had their cars f**ked.
  13. sounds like overkill.. Whats the theory behind it? what about an ebc like a blitz dual solenoid which can pull back the gain when a spike and or the threshold has been passed? I have seen my own work very well on the dyno when I popped a cooler pipe.

  16. sounds like one of the above is causing massive over fueling on idle / low revs under small to no load.

  18. If it is indeed the actuator I would be looking at a replacement R32 RB20 actuator (they are all 10psi actuator). Or as mentioned an aftermarket one. PROXIMITY, unless there is a griding noise, heaps of shaft play or the exhaust wheel has fallen off the turbo I would not jump to conclusions.

  20. so you added the 100mm before or after installing the extra 100mm? it is unclear to me.
