  1. Timing belt slipped a tooth? Sounds like similar symptoms to such a thing occurring. Worth checking out.
  2. You can sell without RWC and transfer it straight away. The buyer then has 28 days to get a RWC or the rego is forfeited. That is how I understand the law and have purchased cars this way.

Elizabeth St yesterday, white R33 GTR asian guy driving, sounded like it had some hard as f**k break pads. Right behind him a Cop in a marked car ON HIS FREAKING MOBILE PHONE!!!! Wanted to whack his door and give him shit, but I figured he would just beat me with his night stick. Should have gotten a photo
  4. No 300V if you wanna stay on the safe side then. High Shear with all those esters in the cocktail...

Blue R34 near St. Kilda baths last night.
  6. Speak to Trent about JT's R33, T67 very responsive and makes killer power on PULP, still runs the VCT IIRC. I have been in both Joey's and JT's R33, although Joey's is tad more responsive they are both great examples on how to tune an RB25.
  7. Do they sell it? The missus recokns she will bring some jerry cans down if I need to, tempting option
  8. Hrmmmm, the missus live in werribee so hoppers aint too bad, but its a 100k drive for me just to get fuel. Once there is one close to Dandy I will probably give it a go, probably need bigger injectors again:(
  9. JoeyJoJo (I might have missed this)but where are you travelling now to get your fuel. I am holding out on doing an E85 tune because I want to be able to drive to get fuel and not take a jerry can Is there much in the East side of Vic now? Someone was trying to tell me a servo in Hastings has it. Cheers -Jez
  10. Had An R32 an auto engine harness \ ECU in my manual for years, I now have a Power FC on that harness. Will work fine.
  11. Contact Power Flow in Ringwood VIC. They do an alloy rail. Although you might want to weld in a bug in the middle ALA the SARD rails. http://www.powerflowinjection.com/ Jason there supplied my rail and cleaned my 550cc injectors with a 24 hour turn around. IIRC they have two sizes for the R32 rails, 14 and 16mm IIRC.
  12. Ruffles PM me any questions you have, am happy to answer
  13. round her little finger. As 33gtst said, car = enemy. I know this all too well, but if she does not respect it, she does not respect you. I see nothing wrong with a daily, perpahs keep the 33 at a family members property for the weekend? End of the day its utter crap, I see no good argument if the body coprorate is AOK with it.
  14. From trust? No such thing, T67 comes in kits SR20 only. Can buy it separate and make a manifold, doubt it will fit, the comp cover is as big if not bigger than to T04S comp cover that comes with the GT30/35 series turbos from garrett. I managed to get a GT30 to just fit on mine, but I decided it was too close and went high mount. Off topic sorry
  15. OH and dont expect to see alot of jap performance cars around. You will see millions of taxis, little cars like micra, and european cars. Most of the jap performance i was was out of the cities. And...If you like Anime check out the Ghibli museum, freaking amazing!
  16. Make sure you have a JR pass for the two weeks, I used mine a freaking lot! Don't stress about train systems, the private ones just get the cheapest ticket and pay the difference at the other end if you need to. Also, if you are changing lines at a private station (metro etc) then make sure you dont put your ticket in an orange labeled machine (it will take it thinking you are leaving the station) Pre book your shinkansen seats a day or two in advance so you can get a train at a decent time, however if you get on at a station at the start of the trip you can usually get a seat in a non reserved carriage. Not all toilets in regional areas have western toilet bowls (makes an interesting event in the dunny) Make sure you know what you want to do the day before hand, and dont be suprised if you cannot find the thing you are looking for. People in Tokyo may say they dont speak english but a lot understand a little. Try to work out the kanji for beed, pork, chicken, tempura, prawn etc. It helps a lot in restaurants!!!!! Hope your single, the girls in Tokyo are f**king HAWTTTTT! If you want to do car stuff try to get onto someone who is hooked up before you go, unless you speak the language and get a chance to stop and talk to someone who looks in the know you may be shit out of luck. Dont be concearned with the feeling of xenophibia on the trains, Japanese dont really like having a whitie in their personal space. In restaurants they are fine serving you etc, but other than that I noticed a fair bit of racism. End of the day its their country, irony is the obsession with western culture Tokyo for me was very different to the rest of the country, but Im not sure about Osaka. Any other questions PM me.
  17. On a very happy dyno with no tune sure. Did you take a holiday to WA for those figures? Or is SA importing dyno's from perth now?

    Car Impounded

Top advice, I agree with that. Best of luck, that is a very un lucky break
  19. Thats an impressive looking map, garrett answering some of their competition perhaps. Some real world examples will tell the story. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Is there any news on smaller frame variants taking advantage of this setup? Or are we talking cost out weighing the advantages?
  20. Too true. There is probably eleventybillion threads about it, but pointing him in the right direction is not hard I can understand that getting these questions daily is annoying but there is a lot to be said about being hospitable.
  21. That does not really help him does it? RB20 turbochargers do not flow as much as an RB25 turbo. There are variants of both so I am not going to quote identification marks. There are a few threads about it if you search. The consensus being early RB25 turbo with RB20 actuator (10psi, not 5/7 like on RB25) should see good results.
  22. HAHA...I'm in the same boat, I pretty much do the same.
  23. IIRC. All R31 Skyline RB30's have the turbo oil\water feed. Late VL's all had the old\water feed, early VL did not.
  24. A little birdie told me that the Gibson HR31's ran Cosworth pistons, how much truth to this statement is anyone's guess. Listen to Angry and Nismoid they have a fair idea and I wont bother re-iterating what they have said. If you want an RB20 that sounds and goes like that, grab yourself a R31 House Manifold and big ass turbocharger and put a side pipe on. In other news Freddie Gibson blew a load on each dog box so 5th wouldn't die all the time. This thread is as useless as my second statement......
  25. I completely re-wired my rb20 due to having a FF plenum now. Injector loom as stated is in 2 parts, I merged it into one. Bit tricky, make sure you MARK EVERYTHING! But it can be done. Nissan plugs for injectors try petroject in melbourne. If you have ruled out spark then have you had injectors flow tested?
